Nice seafood shack. Had the lobster roll (one of my favorite foods!). Lobster tastes fresh, spot and tasty on grilled roll. Comes in 1/4 and 1/2 lb. Sizes. Had a side of fries. Dark and crispy, very tasty. Not sure of they are double fried but very good. Almost has a consistency of frittes. Last on the list was the root beer float. Classic and always hits the spot. Definitely recommend this spot for quality food shack menu with reasonable prices!

This is the lamest hot fudge sundae ever. It’s like they smeared hot fudge on the cup and put the ice cream in it…not a repeat and should’ve gone to the Clam Box but thought I’d try a new place on my visit home. It looks so sad on the pic but its a true representation of what isn’t a sundae.

Remember when restaurants used to take pride in their food? I’m pretty sure Howard’s back in the day was absolutely fantastic but today. I paid $40 for a captain’s platter. Which was chuckful of seafood unfortunately It was all stuffed into a Styrofoam container. The fries were on the bottom then the shrimp then the scallops and then the fish was just a broken mess on top so by the time I dug. In it it was just one big soggy mess. I have no idea why you would take fried food and stick it into a non breathable Styrofoam container especially a plate that costs $40 very very. Sad too bad I do not recommend the seafood there unless you eat it immediately

If you wait all year for carnival/fair season to get hand cut fries, you can get them without the rides or farm animals. These fries were out of this world. Crunchy, tender, hot, salty. The union rings were real onions, breaded, and fried. Also delicious. For real, go for the fries.

Got the scallops and clam strips platter. Fast service and very good food and tartar sauce. Couple bees by the picnic table, but other than that everything was great for lunch on a Thursday.

I have never been to Howard’s before and I must say with all the hype about it, I was disappointed. I ordered a whole rotisserie barbeque chicken and small handcut fries. See attached photos. The chicken was so small it could feed a child. It was also super dry and over cooked. Not at all barbeque flavored. In fact there was no flavor at all. So incredibly bland. The fries were also overcooked and not warm by any means. When we called to let them know it was bad, they offered to refund. That is the only reason I gave 3 stars. They were friendly at the window and on the phone. There is also a sign that day new management and it was opening day.
