I got off work and me and my partner had been craving Japanese and sushi! This was the perfect place! We walked in and immediately were greeted by the sushi cook and our waitress. They are so so kind and the service was spot on! We are so happy with our dinner choice tonight! We were welcomed and felt so happy! It’s hard sometimes going out as a lgbt couple, we’ve felt so unwelcomed and mistreated even refused service so this made us so happy and comfortable. Thank you Mr. Sushi for giving us such a sweet and delicious experience! He was talkative and very kind! We loved it here and will be back!

Wonderful service. Very attentive and friendly server named Jim. We ordered the Spicy Miso, Small Roll/Yellowtail Roll, and the Dynamite Roll. The presentation was picture worthy and everything tasted great. My favorite thing we ordered was the Dynamite Roll. This was our first time but we will definitely return in the future.

Great experience with take out on Friday night. After discussing gluten allergies and celiac disease with the owner, discovered they are very knowledgeable and have multiple options, including gluten free soy sauce! This is the first time in years I’ve been able to eat in at a sushi restaurant. Friendly and amazing service, great quality of fish, and very reasonable prices. I look forward to visiting many more times in the future.

This place has excellent food. I live over an hour away, but drive a service truck and every time I get the opportunity to stop in I try to schedule my day around it wish they were closer to home. I would definitely eat here more often.

I ordered to-go and picked up my meal, so was unable to bring my concerns to the chef.
I ordered three items: seaweed salad, spicy tuna (yellowtail) roll, and salmon nigiri. I order these items regularly at other restaurants, so I have a good idea of how they’re supposed to taste/be.
Quantity:
Seaweed salad – as you can see from my picture, I received very little seaweed salad. It barely came up to the halfway mark on this small container (maybe 6-7 small bites worth).
Spicy tuna (yellowtail): I modified the spicy tuna so that it would contain spicy yellowtail and paid $2.00 additional to the regular price $7.00. So I paid $9.00 for this roll. As you can see, there is barely any fish in each of the bites. One of the end pieces had no fish in it at all.
Salmon nigiri: this style of sushi typically comes with a piece of fish on top of a ball of rice. The pieces of fish I received were very thin.
Quality:
Overall the quality was not that bad. For the price, I the quality seems OK, but really nothing special. The seaweed salad was soaking wet. I realize seaweed salad usually comes frozen to restaurants and is thawed. It seems that Mr. Sushi didn’t drain the liquid at all which leaves an unpleasant soupy experience.
I’ve eaten here before, and the quality did not lack this much… I don’t know if they were just low on yellowtail and salmon.. or what but it doesn’t look good. Looks like they’re skimping on the portions and quality.

The BEST sushi in Oklahoma so far! The staff are the nicest people you will ever meet. Treat you like family as soon as you walk in the door. The food comes out promptly. I promise you, they don’t disappoint in any area here.
HIGHLY suggest the gyosa, takoyaki, the Treasure Roll, and the naughty girl roll!

You know artistry when the work produced is utterly satisfying. The gentlemen at Mr. Sushi are serious about their craft, and work together extremely well. The food – well, every bite was mouthwateringly good, then followed initially with a peach flavored sparkling sake. This drink is dangerously easy to drink, and balances the spicy flavors in the sushi. Yellowfin sashimi last, accompanied by a black Zapporo. It’s delicious and rich, but not as heavy as many other darker brews. Spicy tuna done to a turn. And much, much more. Can’t wait to go back!

To be fair I’ve never been in their business but I get their sushi all the time. The pork rolls are perfectly seasoned and crunchy. The crab Rangoon is delicious. Plus they put a smiley on my sushi and I find that made my meal better somehow. Consistently good. Delicious. My go to since I moved from Illinois.

The food here is quite delicious and the price is reasonable. However, me and friends thought that the ramen is VERY VERY VERY VERY SALTY to the extent that we thought the chef drops a whole bottle of salt into the ramen broth… However the food taste quite good overal and sushi is nice.
