El Salvadoreño Restaurant on Kirkwood Highway is a small place with big flavor. Pupusa lovers should definitely visit. We ordered the chicken with chorizo and the steak platter—while the steak was a little tough, everything else was delicious and full of flavor. We especially loved the plantains. A great spot for satisfying food!

Food was great! But, after eating for a while I seen the staff was staring and laughing. What makes you want to look at people and laugh? There was no interaction other than ordering food. So no idea why they kept on even after they noticed I caught them looking. Will definitely never be back! How do you treat ppl with disrespect and expect there business. One guy and 2 ladies.

Came to this complex for another restaurant and ended up coming to this restaurant and it did not disappoint you have to come here the carne asada is juicy flavorful and delicious only thing that would make this quesadilla better would be if they used masa instead of flour tortilla for their quesadillas, I had the papusas they were light and amazing also their tamales are amazing very light and delicious and their Cameron’s were just as good. To top it off the staff was just so friendly. I will definitely be back.

The owner was super friendly. This was my first time to try Salvadoran foods. The food was good. The only thing was bad is the steak. The steak was super dry and hard to chew. The restaurant has a big parking lot. Highly recommended if you are a big fan for South American food.

Upon learning there was a Salvadoran restaurant nearby I knew I had to check them out, pupusas are one of my favorites. I stopped by for lunch and they served me the best pupusas I’ve had in my life! Fresh, hot, and absolutely stuffed with cheesy, meaty goodness! Their drinks are a must try as well! Absolutely delicious food made by friendly, hard-working people 🙂
