I just had the most unbelievable experience with our server, Dominic! He was like a ninja – swift, efficient, and seemed to anticipate our every need. But what really took the cake was when he accidentally got tangled in a dog leash while taking our order… and still managed to recite the entire menu from memory without skipping a beat! The dog, by the way, was just a random pup that wandered into the restaurant, and Dominic somehow managed to incorporate it into the dining experience. I mean, who needs a fancy wine pairing when you can have a impromptu game of “dodge the puppy”?
The whole thing was so surreal that I’m still wondering if it was all just a clever ruse to distract us from the food (which, by the way, was amazing). But honestly, Dominic’s antics were the real main course. I’ve never had a server who could make me laugh, cry (from laughing), and contemplate the meaning of life all at the same time. If you ever find yourself at this restaurant, request Dominic’s section – but only if you’re ready for a truly unforgettable experience!

If you are ready to eat early, you must get yourself to Dougherty’s for Happy Hour specials! The food and drinks are on point but it’s first come first serve. We enjoyed filet sliders, fried oysters, kobe beef sliders and coconut shrimp.

The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Very over-worked and under staffed. The music was fitting for the atmosphere and not too loud. The small seafood tower was fresh and welcoming. Then it went downhill. The bacon was tiny and the smoke was a little off. All the meat was tough. The dry-aged steak was not cooked right and chewy. All of the food needed salt. The apple cider creme brulee flavor was ok, but almost watery. The pineapple upside-down cake was tasty though. I’d go back just for the seafood tower.

We will definitely come back multiple times. Our original plan was to go to Doc’s Oyster House for there Happy Hour, but they were closed .We brainstormed other happy hours and decided to come here instead.
It was thee best change of plans in the history of changed plans.

Located in Resorts Casino Hotel, this steakhouse is located in the former Gallaghers steakhouse location on the dining level. From their seafood to obviously their steaks, This restaurant is the premier steakhouse of Atlantic City! The staff and quality of service are impeccable. Other steakhouses in town seem to have many employees who either do not speak English or who do not possess and understanding of menu items. It is clear that this establishment trains their employees very well.
I obviously recommend any of the steaks. The appetizers and desserts were also wonderful. I am unable to provide a review on the raw bar or any of the seafood items, As I am unable to eat seafood or shellfish.
I also strongly recommend visiting The knife and fork inn and docs oyster house. These restaurants are Atlantic City landmarks and are proudly owns by the same family. I strongly recommend reservations at all three restaurants to ensure you are accommodated!

Amazing steak and awesome service! We have been here many times. A great place to celebrate when in AC! Highly recommend the filet mignon and lobster bisque. We love sitting in the main restaurant…. But the indoor “patio” near the bar is great for people watching. 5 star meal every time! Always able to seat us with a little notice. Can accommodate large parties.
