Experienced foodie and I have to say this was superb. I ordered the chicken satay, chicken Char ke teow, tiramisu and Malaysian style hot tea. Every dish was full of flavour, not sweet and not salty, just perfect. The chilli peanut sauce with satay was moreish. I would definitely come back again. Nice staff and waiter was also very courteous.

People! Dine out and support local restaurants like this because they are doing good work. If anyone is visiting Manchester and wants a quieter spot with authentic dishes, this is the place to try. Food is halal and can be cooked to preferred taste if requested.

Great little restaurant. Staff was extremely nice. Food was fantastic, we had lamb, nasilama, Tung yum soup and Thai green curry, everything was great. The only thing I dislike was the Thai tea, not strong enough for myself. Will deffo go again.

Poor starters, great mains. Fantastic that the food is all halal. Nice staff, a little slow for service but nothing major. I think the music should be more authentic and you can’t change the view of Broadway lol

I ordered food from Gossip first time today. I called to verify if it was halal and to my joy it’s all halal! In ordered 2 pad Thai dishes (1 Prawn and 1 beef), Malaysian chicken soup, Mee Kari, popiah vegetable spring rolls and Tom ka Kai soup. We are both under the weather & the soups were exactly what we needed. The food is par excellence! The soups were full of flavour, the pad Thai was delicious and spring rolls were good. They were nicely packaged and delivered. This is the best Thai food I’ve had and I will highly recommend it. Thanks guys

This place is a real hidden gem in Manchester! The spicy sambal with the Nasi Lemak was absolutely delicious, MVP of the meal. The Pad See Ew and green curry were also incredibly authentic and full of flavour.

The stars are mainly for our love of Malaysian food, though this place doesn’t fully do justice to it.

We visited with family in the evening. The restaurant wasn’t crowded when we were seated, yet we had to wait to place our order. We asked whether the portions would be sufficient for two adults and were told they would be. We ordered a drink, Char Kway Teow, Tom Yum soup, and Roti Canai with dhal for our child. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive, which was reasonable.

However, I ordered Tom Yum soup and was instead served a plain chicken clear soup, which was average and not what we asked for.

We later felt the adult portions were not enough and wanted to order more. It took several minutes to get the menu and again to get someone to take our order. When we tried to order additional food, we were told it could take a long time — possibly 20–30 minutes or more — and it felt like we were being discouraged from ordering further.

What felt uncomfortable was that a table seated next to us ordered food after we were told it would take too long, yet they received their food without issue. This left us unsure why we were treated differently.

After finishing, we asked for the bill. No printed or itemized bill was provided — payment was simply taken via phone.

Food-wise: The Char Kway Teow was decent but not memorable. The Roti Canai was good, but the dhal tasted stale and did not seem fresh.

We left quietly after paying, as there was no staff available to address our concerns.

I absolutely love this place. We have visited over 6 times and they are consistently great. I always order the beef rendang!!! and then try other things on the menu too. The noodle dishes, Curry’s, rice dishes and starters are all great. Wish they sold chips lol but appart from that one thing it’s full marks. The restaurant is on a big road with free street parking on the side. Always plenty spaces. Seems family run which is cute. Food can take a while sometimes but you know it’s fresh so worth it. Plenty of seating inside. Nice, warm and clean inside. Friendly staff very helpful. Price is decent we paid around £40 for 2 mains, 3 starters and drinks. Halal food ( they do sell alcohol drinks ) . Worth a visit.

What a find! Absolutely delicious food. My wife and I visited last night. We shared a starter and had a main meal each (Beef Rendang/Tandoori chicken). The meat was so tender it was falling apart. Tandoori was cooked to perfection. Food was absolutely superb and we’ll definitely visit again. Great service and venue. Singha and Tiger beer (bottles) were very reasonable. We thoroughly recommend coming here.

I visited the restaurant and ordered food to take away. I was on a quick break from work and needed to feed my family prior to heading back to work. Firstly there was no communication about how long this was going to take so reassurance would have been appreciated. Most importantly the food was terrible.
I ordered the chicken soup to take back to work with me – the broth just tasted like salt and the chicken tasteful it had been left out. I couldn’t finish the soup.
The curries I ordered for my family were also terrible, no depth of flavour and just extremely basic. I also ordered one of the curries to come with prawns and they got the order wrong – they put chicken in both curries.
Safe to say I won’t be getting food from here again, very disappointed.

Wow what a find, the food tasted liking eating in the streets of Malaysia. Everything is halal and the menu could be adjusted to accommodate your personal preferences. I’ll be going here again.
