The presentation is just as impressive as the flavor. The noodles arrive beautifully nested in the center of a clear, clean broth, topped generously with meat and surrounded by all the fresh garnishes you want, plenty of bean sprouts, jalapeño peppers, basil, cilantro, and lime to customize your bowl exactly how you like it.
Portion sizes are very generous. I even asked for extra noodles when I ordered and quickly realized I didn’t need them at all. There was more than enough noodles and plenty of meat, which is something that’s surprisingly hard to find.
I’ve been searching far and wide for a pho that’s truly worthy of the trip and the price, and I can confidently say I’ve finally found it. This is the place.
A special mention absolutely has to go to the crispy pork rolls we ordered as an appetizer, they were out-of-this-world good. Perfectly crispy, flavorful, and addictive. I’m honestly tempted to come back and order five of them and just make that my meal.
I will be back as often as I’m in the area. Huge thanks to the owners for bringing truly authentic pho flavors here. And if you’re anywhere in the surrounding areas even Richmond, VA. It’s worth skipping your local spots and making the drive. This place is worth it.
Ordered an off-the-menu vermicelli bowl swapping the meat options for crispy rolls instead.
The flavors are subdued, nearly bland. This type of very subtle flavors seem to match the clientele of the area. Do not expect much if you’re in search of full-bodied & authentic flavors.
Service was quick, except for when my drink order was forgotten and did not get the waiter’s attention until halfway through the meal. Kudos to the server for thinking ahead and pre-packed the drink in a to-go cup.
However, the Thai tea was pretty much just milky ice drink. There were no hints of the black tea at all. Quite disappointing. Again, this may be attributed to the area’s palette; unless, this was just a bad pour. Who knows?
Plus points, though, to the cleanliness of the facilities and friendly demeanor of the staff.
Plenty of parking.
Service was fast and the atmosphere was calming. We will definitely be back.
The food was incredible – every bite was flavorful and expertly prepared. Portion sizes were generous, and prices were reasonable considering the quality. Highly recommend for a delicious Vietnamese food.
Environment – spotless and clean. Incredibly quaint and peaceful atmosphere inside.
Food – delicious and consistently perfect every single time. Food is out extremely fast and quality never fails to impress.
Service – the two owners here provide a service that is unlike any other restaurant I have been to (have been to quite, quite a few) and they never fail to welcome you and make you feel like home. Drinks are always refilled and requests are always satisfied within minutes. Absolutely great ownership and lovely humans.
Best Pho and Vietnamese food in VA. Missing out if you don’t try them..
Tonight we enjoyed the Pho Duôi Bò (Oxtail, eye of round & brisket) and the Pho Dò Biên (Shrimp & Scallops). Absolutely delicious. To wash it down we had ice cold Bia Saigon Export Premium. Nice touch with the ice cold glasses! Attention to detail.
After dinner the owner made sure to stop by and ask how we liked our entrees. Very warm and welcoming person.
Thanks! See ya soon!
08/02/25 Another sit down, another awesome dinner. Stop by and check it out for yourself!
If you are concerned about the sheer volume of five star reviews, let me just add to the pile – Pho Viet really does deserve them. We have been here over ten different times since the beginning of summer and each visit has been consistently excellent.
Their pho broth is without equal in the Richmond area IMO. The vermicelli bowls and broken rice dishes showcase an excellent bbq pork and chicken that are on par with my absolute favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Orlando, Lac Viet, which went under during covid. Fresh made lemonade and limeade or a lychee martini top off an excellent meal.
Super quick service is also appreciated – hoping to place some to-gos in the future when we cannot dine in.
To have such quality nearby is very exciting!
