Literally the best Mexican restaurant. We’re from Jacksonville NC and so worth the hour drive for authentic Mexican food. We’ve tried “authentic” Mexican restaurants and none compare to la brasa. Portions are big and very filling so youre definitely getting what you pay for. Drinks are glass bottles which can get pricey but very yummy.

If you’re looking for some delicious Mexican food, give this place a try. I had the steak fajitas and loved the large portion of flavor of the marinated steak. Served with toasty warm corn or flour tortillas and a side plate of flavorful rice, beans, and guacamole…yummy! Consider a bottled coke from Mexico…tastes even better then a fountain drink coke.

This is the best authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had! The service was fast and friendly but the food.. omg the food is so good. I’m obsessed with taco truck tacos, and this somehow was better. I can’t justify going elsewhere after trying their food. The fact it’s family owned makes me happy I’ll be supporting a local family at my new favorite spot.

The worst hispanic food in the entire area. Dont know what the problem is. Ive tried it 4 times now with different things on the menue dont waiste your money! Maybe its only for hispanics to go dont know. Taco bell has more flavor. Its crazy. They even serve the quesadilla with ketchup??

ACP was good. Enchiladas were way too spicy . Service was not great because our waitress spoke no English at all which caused my order to come out wrong but she had it redone. Highly uneventful

Great spot if you want good authentic tacos. It’s cheap — $2 a taco — and they have other fun staples too.
The good: they obviously make their own tortillas in house, they’re fresh and slightly doughy. Meats were good. Carnitas and Pastor were on point, but unsalted when roasted. Service was quick and friendly. It’s a family kind of place so don’t expect fine dining service, but folks are nice
Room for improvement: beer list could use some more variety. They were brand new upon this review so I think more beer is coming. Tortas a little pricey at $10 but I’ll have to try one next time because Wilmington still doesn’t have a good torta spot.

Hands down one of the best authentic Mexican places in town. So much so, I hope you know a little espanol to communicate with the staff. Their street tacos are the best in Wilmington and the torta cubana is on another level of deliciousness.

Sit pretty much anywhere once the server noticed us. Very cozy feel inside. The choriqueso dip is a MUST. The salsa was also VERY good. Better than good. Everything came out very quickly. Food was excellent. Just stellar.

Great authentic restaurant with all homemade food and friendly staff. I had 2 carne asada and 2 chorizo tacos (to go) and they came in handmade tortillas with all the trimmings. Highly recommend!! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, here.

Food it’s ok but items very small for how much they cost a gordita for example and over 6 dollars for a horchata, that’s really pricey.
