Jays absolutely has the best chicken wings in Springfield — no question about it!
I stopped by recently, and from the moment I walked in, the service was on point. Rooni, the cashier, took exceptional care of me. Lately I’ve been looking for a better chicken place in the area. Popeye’s just doesn’t have good service and is usually out of things. I was overwhelmed with how good the chicken, fish, and biscuits were. Definitely gonna be back for those. The fries were good but my sides were a little underwhelming. I got the jambalaya beef which had great flavor but was a little dry. The service was outstanding. This is definitely the best chicken I’ve had in this area.

I’ve only tried their honey butter shrimps n they’re tasty and always served hot. I don’t like my food cooked too hard, especially fish because I may warm it up the next day, and they definitely deliver on that part. Quick and good customer service. I’ll be trying other items soon.
As far as the other items they sell, I see items in there that have become hard to find like Scott Peterson polishes. That’s a plus for me!

We were passing through the area and wanted to grab a quick bite; and, we were so glad we stopped here! The food was pretty good, warm, and fresh. Biscuits were so soft & a must-try. This location is more of a grab-and-go. Note: their chicken pieces, tenders, and burgers are halal.

If you want some hot food on link this is the best spot in town especially for sides. I really like the Philly Cheese steak (it’s huge!), the catfish nuggets, honey biscuits, red beans & rice, and the shrimp.

It was the first time from me to go their first its I inside another business I think call J like corner store. Between South Great and 16th almost by MLK st. When in and order but he told me I can call next time and we have it ready in 10 to 15 minutes. I order 8 dark chicken ask to krunchy.l, its fried chicken , when home and open it up grap it a lage its wad super tasty u can feel the the flavors not sure what they but in but I aswom. You should try on day for sure
