This place is never worth it , been to this place bout 4 times. Each time they messed up the order. I try to give them few chances , i am new to Tenafly and it seems this place also attend more to there regular customers. The cooks do not know how to cook, i ask for a platter with two eggs over medium. I had to repeat the order couple times, Presentation is also awful , they put the eggs at the bottom and put all the home fries and sausage on top. Just look at the pic.

I just picked up a dozen thus past weekend while I was down visiting in the area. Its the only bagel shop I shop at when im in town. My friends in NH and VT get to enjoy them when I bring them back. They stay nice and soft. They are large enough for sandwiches. Lots of choices. French toast is one of my favorites with a cup of tea.

They used to make one of the best bagels in Bergen county but now, they make soft pillowy dough softer than my pillows.
I miss their old bagels with golden bubbly crust with proper bagel shape that were not 6 ft tall.

Visiting relatives in New Jersey and came here on Christmas. The bagels are amazing: they are huge, the perfect texture and lasts in the freezer if you bought too much! If you look at the inside the texture looks different from others, with more “columns” instead of balls of dough, maybe that’s the secret? We got sandwiches and a lot to take home!

They used to be really good but now just meh. My bagel is usually either under toasted or burnt and the amount of “everything” on their everything bagels is so sparse 🙁
Got a sandwich today and it looked so sad. I expected better especially since their prices have gone up, but I honestly think you can find plenty of other spots just as good in Bergen county.

“Look how they massacred my boy”…. Bagels are, hands down, the best bagels anywhere. But the decor went from an inviting, cozy, neighborhood shop to a sterile, soulless run of the mill place. Maybe it’s to deter people from hanging around. 🙁
