Good food and drinks. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sashimi. The hot sake was decent quality for its cheap price, and the sweet plum dessert wine was deceptively delicious. Edamame had little salt, you can decide if you like that or not.

Im not sure why ive never been here before, I will definitely be back. Food was great. Was also there during happy hour so I took advantage of some of the food on their list.

Had a couple rolls, the katsu, my friend and I had some drinks.

I recommend!

I have gone here so many times and bring friends often! I love this restaurant and think they are just high quality for a great price! They have really great pricing for happy hour on their oysters and I always recommend people get some of their garlic edamame, we always finish every piece! Great for dates and small outings with friends or family.

This is one of my favorite sushi spots. The prices are so good for the quality, the space is never too crowded but has a nice buzz, the food is both fast and delicious, and their staff are attentive and nice. Their custom rolls and nigiri plates are a bit more unique and thoughtful. Whenever someone asks me out to sushi I see if we’re closer enough to this place first.

A fun place to gather with friends! Came here on a Saturday and they had ample seating and lots of reservations left.

Good:
Very solid sushi rolls! I really loved the 24th and OMG and volcano rolls. Especially with the volcano roll they really loaded up on the crab meat and toppings.

The chicken karaage was good as well and super crispy in texture.

I enjoyed the cute sake cups too.

Bad:
Service is so hard to flag down! Really rarely did we get someone to check in on us or get our food order so it was a longer wait time for sure.

Really loud too so it’s hard to hear your friends but it’s a very party hangout vibe.

Overall was a fun place for a big group to congregate and enjoyed sharing many plates!

I figured there would be many Mexican restaurants around Mission, but then I noticed this Japanese restaurant. We came during happy hour (5-7pm) and ordered mainly food from their happy hour menu. Most things were discounted a couple dollars, while most of the sushi was only $1 off. The regular menu was fairly small compared to most restaurants. All the food we got was delicious, it just would have been better with a little more portions. For example, the baby fried calamari could fit in my hand. Both service and presentation is good. This is a good place to go if you want Japanese food where Mexican restaurants dominate the area.

I recently tried the new Good Deal Nigiri, and it’s such a steal! The fish is incredibly fresh, and the quality is amazing. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Happened to be in the area for some errands. We were craving sushi and found two restaurants. Sake Bomb was the more economically friendly option thus we ended up coming here. The restaurant was clean, the service was prompt, and the quality was appropriate relative to price. The grilled squid was prepped well and we were satisfied with the portion size. Would love to try their monkfish liver next time around. I’d definitely choose this restaurant again if the sushi craving hits while I’m in the area.

Sake bombed our delivery. Bland and bad smelling miso soup, old avocado in the California roll. Spicy tuna and salmon roll also did not taste great. Felt like we got some old rolls that had been sitting around for hours. We threw half of it away, and what we did eat did not taste good either.
