Myself and friend visited Siam Orchid last night and I can’t say enough good about it. It is small but cosy. Warm and inviting. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was top notch full of flavour. The service was quick but you could tell a lot of care had gone into the food. Very reasonably price too. Will definitely be returning.
Second time visiting tonight… Food was amazing as before. However service was more 3 star than 5. The waiter did not know how to pronounce the menu options, was brought out green Thai curry instead of red and also not given the option to order rice which ideally should have been offered once we have the order of a curry. Brought coconut rice before being given an option to begin with. Apart from that, lovely atmosphere and nice background music. A very intimate and perfect place for a romantic date. Will be returning.

Have known of this little gem for a number of years but as we’re not local to the town, we haven’t had the opportunity to eat here until now. Such a quirky little restaurant, split out on two levels. Food was absolutely fantastic (we had one of the set menus, starter sharing platter, four main dishes and a dessert each) plenty to feed us both with a little left over. One thing which added to the quirkiness, was being handed a pint glass of water (when asking if we could have some water at the table) . Certainly didn’t detract from what was a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Great place to eat the food was amazing very good portions too. Staff are friendly. But I suggest you make reservations before you go. since it’s a small place and only 10 tables approx.

Lovely quiet little restaurant, with a friendly and quirky atmosphere. Service was perfect and the meal was utterly divine. I feel myself salivating just thinking about it. Worth the hour drive to Andover! I will definitely be visiting again.

Absolutely the worst Thai food I’ve ever had .
Did not see 1 Thai person working there.
Waiter said chef was Thai but I didn’t believe him .
Told the head waiter the food was awful and and to my utter shock he said …”thank you “.
We left 90 percent of our dishes and was not offered any discount or apologies.

Food was absolutely fantastic, maybe some of the best in Andover. The service was nice and the atmosphere was relaxed and nice to be around. Definitely going to bring family and friends back to here so they can try it for themselves. I’ll be booking again soon!
