This place is so good! Yummy Mexican treats! The Sonoran hot dog is delish! I also had the Topo Chico prepared drink basically a non alcoholic michelada!!

I wanted to leave a review since I had a great experience eating here yesterday. The employees were super kind and sweet. My partner and I got the sonoran dog combos which were delicious. The employee asked if we were eating outside and brought out napkins for us and helped us arrange the table. Prices were great too, it feels rare to feed two people for twenty bucks now. Highly recommend this place.

Food was super tasty and service was great. The emberazado hot dog was huge and loaded with toppings. The dogs may be pricier than a street cart but they are easily twice the size. Also bought a few Popsicles to go. What I’ve had so far tasted great. Loved the jamaica as well. The menu is plentiful and we’ll definitely be back to try more.

The people working there were nice. The food was just meh. I got the nachos, but there was hardly any cheese on it. The meat was not seasoned very well and quite dry. The horchata was quite large, but taste was just ok. This place is very expensive. I ended paying $30 for nachos, horchata, and a coke.

Overall, this place just isn’t for me given the quality of food and price. Not worth it imo.

Red chiliquiles too much cheese …….not enough sauce…
Ground beef is black and dry…..
They use tortilla chips for salsa in stead of frying them in a pan ….why different style of this version and don’t like it….plus no beans and rice….way too much cheese…not going back to this place…also this was my first time here….and last…

Seems like a cool spot but my Sonoran dog was straight trash in my opinion. Soggy non toasted bun, way too many toppings, I had enough tomatoes for 8 hotdogs. This spot is just around the block from me, I’ll be back to try some other things before I give up. Fingers crossed

Saturday afternoon, and boyfriend won debate… went to El Jefe Street Food. So glad the man won. Haven’t had nachos this good in years. Must try the birria nachos. To die for whether you’re a nacho fan or not. Jason Simpson, eat your heart out.

El Hefe Street Food is a hidden gem!
The food quality is top-notch. The hot dogs are on another level — especially the Embarazado Dog, a unique and flavorful combo you won’t find anywhere else. I also tried the chilaquiles and the strawberries & cream, and they were amazing.
The vibe is authentic, the service is friendly and fast, and the whole menu is packed with bold street-style flavor.
Definitely one of my favorite spots for something delicious and different
