The grinder sandwich was fabulous! The pork tacos lacked spices and were bland. The service was good until the waitress gave a whatever response. I said the soup was great she said that’s good and walked away like whatever. The restaurant appearance is inviting and looks family oriented. Regarding the waitress, one was nice but the blond was not genuine. Very disappointing. I do recommend but set your expectations. Btw the banana pudding is out of this world!

LOVED the coffee drinks we got! The mini/slider Monte Cristo sandwiches would have been better if they were batter fried, as is typical for Monte Cristo sandwiches. Hope they improve it a little because the potential for awesomeness is DEF there! Would 100% recommend this place! Plan on going there for an event sometime!

Went in for lunch to-go. Greeted and served by Taleza (sp?). She was so friendly and talked to me the whole time while my Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap was made. It was delish! The side Caesar salad was so yummy with tons of parmesan cheese and croutons. The food was spot on. Love this place! Oh and she made me a custom, sweetener on the side, cappucino that I would def order again.

Came in with my family, we sat in the upper part because it was a little packed. We waited about 25 minutes before I went down and asked for some menus and to let them know we were here. Kind of a rude response from the bartender: “someone will be up there when they get up there.” Cool- I know we’re not special and I’m just here for the kiddos. We got our server, waited about 45 minutes for our food. My daughter’s food was wrong. She ordered the pork nachos, and got chicken instead. Luckily she’s not allergic. Still fine, I know they were busy. People started leaving and business was slowing down. We were finished eating and waited almost an hour for our check, and to go boxes. We gathered the trash and neatly placed it on the table to help the server out and came down to the car area to see our waitress. I had already asked several times for the check at this point. She walked past us about 5 times and never said anything to us. The manager finally came over and didn’t know we had been there for so long. He got us our check and a to go box. Unfortunately I tip for good service, and I feel like our waitress copped an attitude with us for no apparent reason. So she could have had a 25%-30% tip but treated us unfairly. I’m also a server, and regardless of how busy things are, I treat everyone ESPECIALLY families with the same respect I do to people who drink and spend boohoos of money. Not impressed with the waitstaff. Also overheard one of the other servers talking about how they hate their jobs. Management is great, serving team… idk.

Went with a friend and while the waitress was sweet and the 2 drinks and the appetizer were good, the total price as well as how they treated us was pretty bad. We got two cocktails and one pretzel to share and it was 45 dollars. Make that make sense. 45 dollars for 3 things? Then I saw that it was half price wells and the pretzel discounted to 8.99 for healthcare workers. When I asked for the discount the kind waitress went to get someone to ring us up and this woman was so rude. She straight up ignored me when I was trying to ask her a question, in the middle of me asking her something she started talking to someone else, and then got big attitude when we tried to hand her the tip for our waitress. She was so rude. And after the discount it was still 34 dollars. For 2 cocktails and one pretzel? How? I should have asked to see the receipt but we just wanted to get out of there. Drinks were good but not good enough to pay that much money and to be treated like that. Not a fan. Will not be going back.

We travel a lot with work and have the pleasure of being here for a bit, and I looked this place up, read the reviews, pictures, and the chicken salad croissant looked absolutely amazing. So I stopped in to order one to-go with the choice of Jalapeño soup. When I got home, I was less than impressed, as you can see in the photo. There was maybe “I’m being generous here” a tablespoon of chicken salad and a slice of tomato thicker than the whole sandwich alone. What was even more disappointing was it was absolutely delicious. The chicken salad had a wonderful consistency, lettuce was crisp, the croissant was toasted nicely even the block of tomato was good. Jalapeño soup was probably some of the best I’ve had. But, to buy a tomato sandwich for $15, this was a disappointment. I gave 2 stars because the flavors and seasonings were solid. I want to try other things, but I’m reluctant to feel like I could be wasting my money again. I also provided a picture of what I thought I would be getting, or at least something close to it.

Kind of obsessed with this trendy little spot and the shopping next door! The Old Baker cocktail is definitely strong and definitely delicious! Also really loved The Tommy cocktail. The personal pizzas were a good size and reasonably priced. Definitely give this place a visit when you make your way through town!

This one was a little different then my normal reviews, a little over a week ago I was approached by a lady that wanted to remain anonymous in the review process but wanted my opinion on this specific establishment while I was a little confused at the time because I thought this was just another coffee shop attached to a thrift store of sorts that I’d never been to before I agreed to do the review and am so glad I did.

First I would like to say I was very wrong this is NOT AN ORDINARY COFFEE SHOP ATTACHED TO A THRIFT STORE!

In more ways then one I see now it is truly a intrical part of the heart of Mineral Wells and why I was approached.

Whether you’re coming in to eat a delicious meal from Coffee & Cocktails, sit on the patio and enjoy their LIVE MUSIC ON FRI & SAT nights 8pm to 11pm or to just grab a coffee/drink from the full bar to sip on as you shop for your latest seasonal decor, fresh packages of meats, jewelry, sweet & savory treats or gifts of all shapes sizes and categories you can trust that this place is a one stop shop for all of your holiday needs.

MY EXPERIENCE
Visual – as soon as you walk in the first door you are over come with smells of deliciousness its then I realized I could either get a coffee at the window and walk around the shop or go into the restaurant, I chose to eat first and proceeded to the second door in to the restaurant where I was Greeted by Lynsie who was welcoming. She let me know I could sit anywhere and she would be with me in a moment. There was maybe 12 people in the dinning room including myself. Most seemed like they were satisfied with their meal and ready to go. As I got to the table I realized there is a small vase of fresh real carnations on the tables for an elegant touch. I looked around and was delighted to see 2 of their walls one as a chalk board drink menu and one announcements of the specials through the days of the week. The stained glass plains in the window caught my eye because they show different points of views from all walks of life. Luckily I was able to witness Ms. TJ turn the atmosphere of the restaurant from a spookey fall Halloween to a calm and cozy Christmas themed Wonderland with her beautiful new decorations.

FOOD/BEVERAGES
As I looked over the menu I ordered an iced Caramel coffee which I quickly found out was better then a .

Michaela (Manager) and Lynsie the server did a great job helping me choose as I took a while to look over the menu and landed on their 76067 Club ( with a few modifications) I did no tomatoes and added mozzarella and the chicken pelablano soup. When it came out I was very impressed by how fresh and soft The croissant looked. The mozzarella was fresh, only to be outshined by the triple berry jam and how all the flavors complemented each other making this the best club I’ve ever had. The Chicken Pelablano soup had a bite to it for sure that was cut perfectly by dipping the club in it. All together this and the Monicristo sliders with chedder potato soup I took home to my children were an eye opening look in to the hidden treasures down town Mineral Wells and COFFEE & COCKTAILS have to offer.

Stopped in for a quick bite after my hike at Mineral Wells State Park. I had a Wholly Guacamole sandwich on a deliciously crispy croissant that had been lightly toasted and a cup of their tomato florentine soup that was the daily special. Both were superb. I also tried the cucumber lime refresher that was pretty good too. The inside is very chic with flowers on every table and cool stained glass pictures designs in the windows. Service was friendly and professional. Definitely check them out when you are in Mineral Wells !
