This review is based on getting food from the farmers market. I wish the prices were displayed somewhere because I kindly would have walked away. The people were nice but the food just wasn’t worth the money. I got a lobster roll, hot dog and one order of fried oysters for $54 without any sides. Some cheap fries would have made it slightly better. The lobster roll was tiny. She even put it in a hot dog bun. She did explain that there was an issue with the order of her regular buns or something. I get it, but still. The oysters were okay but there was no cocktail sauce or anything to dip them in. She ended up giving me some sauce that she made. If I had known there was no sauce I would not have ordered them. Needless to say we still have to go buy dinner. Really disappointed.

First time visiting and definitely won’t be my last! This place is located inside the farm fresh store, but don’t let that deter you. The owner is kind and personable, and the food is to die for! The lobster roll is absolutely amazing! Nothing but lobster and bitter – I’m drooling just thinking about the next time we get to enjoy this treat!

Well I went across the Portsmouth tunnel to try this lobster roll because of all the good comments. I’m thinking it must have been the owner’s personal friends because I felt like I was punked. First off it’s small as heck..I mean TINY FOR $22. I purchased two for me and my daughter. Lawd yal gotta be honest when writing reviews because it’s not even filling like someone else wrote. I’m still hungry and now because of all that butter I got acid reflux. Three bites and it’s gone and I took small bites. I admit it was tasty but come on now it’s not worth the hype.

I have been searching for the best lobster roll in Hampton Roads and I have finally found it! The roll was PERFECTLY buttery and toasted – it supported the lobster and was still soft. The lobster was amazing, so well cooked and fresh! My husband and I ordered 4 – one of them didn’t even make it out of the parking lot (guilty with no shame!). We will be back again and again.

I moved to Portsmouth on Thursday with my husband and I was exploring the area and saw this place on my maps suggestions for food. I walked in and right off the bat the owner Michelle was so welcoming and she and I engaged in a nice conversation while her son (who works with her) made my lobster roll.
Michelle told me the things to do in the area, etc. since I’m new there and she was the best!
That’s not all, the food was AMAZING! I will definitely be going back there again, with my husband this time! The lobster meat didn’t taste bland at all plus the bun was buttered/toasted which made it better!
I’m completely new to the area so I had no prior connection to her or the place and I still loved it, despite one of the reviews.

Michelle serves up the best Lobster Rolls I’ve ever had. They’re so tasty you want to go back and order a second and third before finishing the first one. Her Tropical Smoothies are equally delicious. Highly recommend!

The owner is very welcoming. Love her energy. You may feel a little iffy when you first visit. It’s a starter shop inside Farm Fresh (Everyone doesn’t have Starbucks money). I had the strawberry mango smoothie and a lobster roll. Both were very good. Glad I gave them a chance.

Disappointed! The $22 the lobster roll is extremely small. It doesn’t even come with fries, potato wedges or a drink. I think the lady takes your payment before she gives you the lobster roll because she knows it’s extremely small and not worth the $22.

OMG! this is a MUST TRY. Crispy, buttery, flavorful. Every bite i tried to chew slower just bc i wanted to enjoy it longer. I wasn’t even really a lobster fan until i ate this! The owner is one of the funniest, most interesting and involved I’ve met and made the whole experience a joy. It’s an expensive treat, and looked small upon first glance but the amount of meat made it extremely filling. we all deserve that moment of bliss. You’ll be satisfied.
