The food is off the charts
However the setup is bad
You order on 1 line which nobody came for about 8 minutes of me standing there
Ok , place my order here & then told go to end and pay there , ok went there & there was 6 people just standing there , nobody was at the cash register so I stood there too. I looked behind me at 1 point and there was a line to pickup food like 15 deep the store was packed
About 10 min later the cash register has an employee there and asks has everybody paid ? So another person & myself said no, so he rang us up.
The other 5 people already paid , now you stay put until they call your order# that was another 10 min so almost 30 min inside store to get my order
Its store size is just too small for the business they do , they have a few tables inside but a bunch outside which is awesome
I would go again I just may pick a slower time of the day & not lunch time hours
Im an impatient guy so maybe I’m wrong on the wait time, I get it good food is worth the wait
Please get a bigger store
You would probably benefit from more sales cha-ching

Really wanted like this place to be good. Took a long time to get our food. After 20 minutes for two sandwiches went in to check and noticed a sign that said no lucky since we had ordered. Finally got someone’s attention and got our food. Hubby had gotten a lucky and it only had one piece of pastrami. My Norma looked like it had been siting for a while cheese was hard and paper started to ripe when picking it up, bread was also hard. Soup of the day was room temperature at best. Was not busy when we can in so not sure what happened. So for $50 definitely not worth it.

We drove 45 minutes from Clearwater to try this deli and it was worth twice that ride if not more.
The attention to ingredients they use for their sandwiches if top notch.
I had daily special called “The Martin”. It was a perfect lunch sandwich, paired with the homemade potato salad. My wife had the “The Mary” paired with their pasta salad. Wonderful as well.
Given the slight chance I have time, I will be back as often as I can.
Great job to the friendly staff for making us feel so welcomed.

My god so good! We stumbled upon this on a drive, and it was so good. We loved the cold sandwiches – great ratio and bread. The mustard seed potato salad and pasta salad were excellent side dishes (especially potato salad), and we even got their Italian sodas and loved those.
The staff was so friendly, and the vibe and decor were very nice, very much so adding to the experience.
I would make the drive for this place again.

I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always incredible! My go to is the Mary but I’ve had lots of different sandwiches and they’ve all hit the spot! The outdoor area is always perfect to sit and read and enjoy lunch. Do yourself a favor and go!

I tried the Lucky (minus the slaw) which was a hot sandwich made with house-roasted pastrami brisket, Swiss, caramelized onion, garlic-dill pickle, and house mustard sauce and WOW! Absolutely delicious! Easily the best sandwich shop in the area with an insanely good variety of options that makes every visit feel like the first visit. We spent about $35 for 2 sandwiches, 2 drinks, 1 tomato soup + 1 bag of chips.
Food and atmosphere: 5/5
Service: 4/5
Only reason for the deduction is that the woman working the counter on Sunday, 7/14, seemed noticeably unhappy to be there, a bit short & annoyed with each interaction. Hopefully just an off day, because everything else was top-tier.
Will absolutely be back!

I got the fried eggplant sandwich and it absolutely blew my mind. Everything we’ve had here in our 4+ visits over the last few months have been nothing short of incredible. If you’re looking for one of the best sandwiches within an hour drive of Tampa, make this your first stop.

Stopped by The Mustard Seed in Land O’ Lakes for the first time, and it did not disappoint! I got The Mark, my wife had The Renee, and my mom went with the veggie wrap. We all split the potato salad and a slice of Snickers pie. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a delicious sandwich, this spot has you covered with both indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend checking it out. We’ll definitely be back!
