I went and place an order. The girl took a combination bowl and serve me rice, the meat and green bananas. After I finished my order she went to the cash register and charge me for everything individually. I don’t have any problems to pay for the food I ordered but if they are going to charge me for things individually pack them individually. I paid $20 for rice with green pigeons peas, pork and green bananas in a combo bowl. I asked the girl about it because for me was excessive and she told me that was how they charged. The food tasted good but this was not a restaurant or fresh made food. I really they need to post the prices or let people know they will charge them this high prices.

Updated review: I finally tried the food and GOODNESS GRACIOUS FOOD HEAVEN

You all have to come here immediately.

If you guys stayed open later during the week and made a sign advertising a protein plate you would get lots of gym customers from next door! Get that money!!! you guys are the best

I’ve only had the flan and a couple pastries so far but I’m dying to try everything else. I just prefer to make my choices on what I want before I go into the restaurant.

Can you PLEASE please please post your menu on your website or in pictures here? I actually work in technology, website development, and online presence and marketing for small businesses and I love you guys so much that I’d be happy to offer my services for free.

I’ll be in touch next time I come in for some maltas and flans unless you’d like to provide me with an email address I can reach out to you on!

I INSIST this amazing small business and place to eat that we so DESPERATELY needed in this area not only succeeds but THRIVES as a non-Spanish speaking boriqua myself who was adopted and raised by non boriquas hehe.

Great Latin grocery store with a little restaurant attached serving yummy Cuban and Puerto Rican food. The room vieja is very easily as is the arroz con gandules. The fried pork is good too. It’s a quick place to run in and grab dinner that tastes like it was homemade!

The fricace de cerdo, arroz con gandules, ropa vieja, and res empanada were so delicious and fresh. The portion sizes were good and the overall price was nice. I drove a ways to get there and I was so glad it was worth it.

Great little hidden gem in NRH, they have all the tropical produce you look for like Culantro, Panapen (breadfruit), and huge Tropical Avocados, and all the other things you need in a Caribbean Kitchen. I also love that they are growing and added a a lot more area in the grocery sections and also added a small bakery/coffee and restaurant section next door!
