Stopped here after a fishing trip and was honestly impressed. Everything we ordered came out hot, fresh, and well-seasoned. The fried seafood had a perfect crispy coating, the fries were cooked right, and the burgers were juicy and stacked with flavor. Portions were generous and prices were reasonable for how much food you get. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy a good meal. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area. Ps, thank you Britney the waitress!! She was such a sweetheart to us and our kiddos! Also the waitress the next day that evening! ❤️

Stopped here on our way back home from the orange fest. Food was good. I got the Seafood Platter. The seasoning was ok, not the best but I usually drown mine with tarter and cocktail sauce. The tarter was good but the cocktail sauce tasted weird. My wife got the Frog Legs with fries. She liked them. She also got a cup of Gumbo which was very good. Our server was nice. However the families at the tables we were sitting in between, kept belching. I thought is was funny and wasn’t bothered, but my wife was shocked by it. Other than that, it was a good place to stop for some seafood.

After checking out Fort Jackson we stopped here for lunch.
This place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was great. If you’re in the area give them a try, definitely a local spot where everyone knows each other.
Husband had the combo po’boy 1/2 oysters and other 1/2 shrimp he enjoyed it. I had fried catfish and that too was very good,

If you’re thinking of dining here, let me save you the trouble: don’t. This place has managed to turn the simple act of eating into a masterclass in nickel-and-diming.
Every single transaction comes with a mandatory 4% “processing fee.” That’s already absurd, but it gets worse. If you dare to use any card—even debit—they slap on another 4% compounded fee. So not only are you paying for your meal, you’re paying extra for the privilege of giving them money. It’s like being fined for existing in the 21st century.
What makes this even more insulting is that businesses already benefit when customers pay with cards. They get guaranteed payment, faster transactions, reduced theft risk, streamlined accounting, and even higher customer spending. In other words, they’re already gaining, yet they’ve decided to double-dip and punish customers for it.
And the food? It’s okay. Every dish tastes like it was seasoned by someone who mistook the salt shaker for a fire extinguisher. Everything is drowning in sodium. You’ll leave bloated, thirsty, and wondering if you just ate a salt lick.
Dining here feels less like a meal and more like a punishment. If you enjoy paying extra for the privilege of eating oversalted food, this is your paradise.

Don’t let the humble exterior fool you. This place has AMAZING seafood. It may look like just a roadside diner, but the food is divine. The oysters are so fresh, they’ll slap you in the face! My husband will tell you that shrimp are my favorite thing, and while they were good the oysters blew them out of the water. Definitely stop by in the afternoon for charbroiled oysters and crawfish!
The staff was friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean. The prices were a little steep but worth it for the quality of the food. Sitting outside to eat felt wonderful, especially since it was 30° when we started our trip yesterday, and it is a delightful 82° with a lovely breeze today. Totally worth the drive!
