The crispy bacon was the best part of this entire meal. The deviled eggs I start with the fried shrimp on top and the breading is very good. If you like no seasoning then this is the place for you. I guess they need to meet Salt-N-Pepa!
The chorizo omelette it was good but again no flavor. It’s simply ingredients and nothing special about anything.
The grits are very unusual. They don’t look like normal grits but when you put them in your mouth they have the consistency of grits. They look more watery.
The pancakes are super thick and are actually too thick, very dense.
The staff was the best part. The bartender was attentive and as soon as we opened up the door we were greeted by a young gentleman with a smile and asked us if we wanted to sit down!
The place is a lot more expensive than it needs to be. We had an appetizer, two breakfast meals and two Cokes and it was $70. Not including the tip..

We absolutely loved our experience today. Collin the host was welcoming. Our server Carson was the absolute best, very kind, accommodating and never hesitated to get us an answer if she didn’t know something. Even the manager Chris came to say hello and told us about the restaurant. The food came out in a timely manner, warm and was delicious. Would definitely come back.

I ordered the Thick Chick with scrambled eggs and cheese. Presentation-wise, it was an A+… the dish looked amazing when it hit the table, and the portion size was impressive.
Now for the downside: it was cold. The gravy was cold, the chicken was cold, and overall the flavor was pretty bland. A little seasoning would have gone a long way. It honestly felt like the plate had been sitting out for a while before being served.
Will I come back? Yes.. I’m rooting for Brick and Spoon. But the food temperature and seasoning definitely need improvement. Something that looks that good shouldn’t be served cold. I hope next time is better!

Like WOW! Our food was absolutely delicious and we ordered we had a group of 6. Food came out quick and correct. Deviled eggs, stuffed French toast, fried chicken on biscuits with gravy, bananas in pjs, bil said was the best omelette he’s ever eaten, he got the chorizo one. Hubby got a shot with oj & slice of bacon, speciality coffees and more. It was ALL great! Service was fab! Will be returning when we are in the area again! Thank u so much for delicious food, service and the experience!

This was my first time visiting. My sister ordered the shrimp and grits and it had a lot of onions and bell peppers in it, so she didn’t care for it. The grits were very runny. As you can see in the photo. And not much flavor. I ordered the Cajun pasta and I’m glad I asked for extra sauce because that bowl was loaded with pasta and not a lot Of sauce and literally only six shrimp on top for that big ole bowl. The flights were good and the service was amazing. However I was not Pleased with the food. Perhaps some like their pasta on the dry side, I do not. We definitely don’t like our grits that are runny and over powering with onions and bell peppers. But maybe others do. Great atmosphere and wonderful customer service!

This spot popped up on our way home from Galveston – great choice and we enjoyed everything! The beignets were some of the best I’ve had. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and it was perfect portions and flavor are great and my poached eggs were a perfect medium (I don’t like em too runny). Potatoes were crispy and well seasoned. 10/10 will be back

Wife and I stopped by here due to word of mouth. It was a wonderful breakfast stop. “Boozey coffee” choice for myself included rum which was sublime. Wife’s choice with vanilla liquor was also well received. Generous texas-sized food portions. Very calming and pleasant atmosphere which paired well for early morning start. Will visit again.

This was my 1st time eating here. All the staff was very friendly. It was very clean inside and nicely decorated. I ordered a crab cake Benny with potatoes. It looked great on the plate but I wish I could say it tasted great. First, everything was cold. The crab cake by itself was okay but it was ruined by the awful Hollandaise sauce on top. That was the worst thing I have ever tasted and it left an awful taste in my mouth. It’s really not that hard to make it from scratch instead of from a can or bag. I didn’t care for the muffin it sat on or the greens or bacon. The potatoes were the only thing that was edible on my plate. Spent $55 here for 2 meals, 1 water and 1 plain coffee and tip. No thank you. This place has potential if you get better ingredients and serve food hot.
