Tucked away on the Snoqualmie Ridge and just minutes from Snoqualmie Falls and the Club at Snoqualmie Ridge golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and home to the PGA’s Boeing Classic, you will find Happily at the Bay Teriyaki. The restaurant lives up to its cheerful name with warm hospitality, spotless surroundings, and food that hits all the right notes.
From the moment we walked in, the customer service stood out, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant and restroom were impressively clean, which always sets a great tone for the meal.
Web ordered the #20, Kung Pao Chicken with a special request: deep-fried and crispy chicken with extra vegetables. Not only did they nail it, but the dish arrived with bold, balanced flavors and just the right amount of heat. The chicken was perfectly crispy without being greasy, and the vegetables were fresh and vibrant, crunchy where they should be, tender where it counts.
We also tried the Chicken Breast Teriyaki (#36 on the menu). The flavor was excellent, sweet, savory, and satisfying. While the chicken breast leaned a bit dry (as white meat sometimes does), it was still a solid dish overall and paired well with the sauce and rice.
This spot is a gem and a must try if you’re visiting the Seattle area!

My nephew and I stopped by Happy at the Bay Teriyaki after a lovely visit to Snoqualmie Falls, and we enjoyed the most delicious lunch! I personally loved the teriyaki, and my nephew ate every last bite of his butterfly shrimp! The service was incredible, and the staff were kind, friendly, and accommodating. I loved that there were books available to customers to read, and all of the windows made the restaurant so bright and inviting! I will definitely stop by again the next time I’m in town!!

My photos don’t do Happy justice because wow was this some AWESOME teriyaki to have in Snoqualmie! Generous portions and solid flavor across every option from short ribs to Korean veggie pancakes. The katsu was a little dry, but overall, a great option for takeout in the area!

This has been, by far, my favorite Chinese food yet! We were passing through while visiting the Snoqualmie Falls and my son was hungry and wanted Chinese – Sweet and Sour Chicken without the sauce. So I found this place on Google and we tried it out. So glad we did! It was delicious!
I took pics of our meals after I already dug into mine (sorry not sorry) and before I decided to write a review. The veggies on my General Tao’s chicken are so fresh and delicious and amazing. A far cry from the mushy ones I usually find in Chinese food! And the crab Rangoon (not pictured) was perfectly crunchy and delicious. Sometimes I almost find them to be a bit stale tasting almost on the outside, but these were also perfect.
My son enjoyed his dish too. Though he prefers a different breading (the kind that is like fried dough) but I thought this was just perfect! I would definitely come back if I were in the area again.

Some friends and I stumbled across this gem recently. I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing variety on the menu, teriyaki, Chinese, Korean, and even pho. What’s more amazing is that ITS ALL DOME WELL! especially the bulgogi and house made kimchi (which you can buy to take home). If you’re looking for Korean or solid Asian in an area that it’s sparse, seek out happy bay.

General tao chicken seemed a little too acidic but still good. Tempura was amazing. Portions seem a little small. Would recommend overall
