We picked up samosa pav from Bombay Vada House. It was good, tasty. I wish it came with chutney on the side. The samosa were nice & hot. Would like to come back & try other things on the menu!

Went with a friend during our lunch at work, so needed to be fairly quick. Place was nice and clean. The staff was helpful and kind in explaining our questions. He had food suggestions, and he was spot on for us. Our meals were delicious and flavourful. This place is two blocks from our work and it was first time we tried this place, but won’t be the last! We really enjoyed our experience.

Bombay Vada is hands-down one of the best Indian restaurants in Jersey City. The food is beautifully seasoned, perfectly balanced, and consistently delicious.
The menu strikes the perfect blend of traditional favorites and creative dishes. The biryanis are fragrant and deeply flavorful, the curries are rich without being heavy, and the tandoori items come out juicy with that unmistakable smoky char. You can taste the freshness in every bite. Portions are generous, and everything comes out beautifully presented.
Service is attentive without being intrusive. The staff really knows the menu and is happy to make recommendations based on preferences or spice levels.
I highly recommend Bombay Vada. Excellent food, great service, and a warm atmosphere—easily one of my favorite spots in Jersey City.

Looks locally run and no frill neighborhood spot.
I was craving pani puri and walked a whole 20 minutes to this spot.
The shells were crispy and it came with chopped onion, chutney, filling, and plenty of sauce.
I ordered some other things with the help of the server who was checking in with me about food and my experience.

I would go back and try something else also.

Tried dabeli.

Very well Prepared and presented.
Nice music and chill vibe
Billed properly, i paid 10.65 USD for 2 dabeli and 1 water bottle.
Didn’t tipped them anything today, and the guy was still chill.
I liked the dabeli, especially the green chatni.
Most probably will visit again.

Worst vada pav ever tried- feels like they has put poha instead of potato mash( or that’s grated instead ) and i’ve never expected tamarind chutney in vada pav ( expecting garlic chutney though)

Really nice and chill spot in jersey city. We really enjoyed all the food there. Would recommend the Kati rolls – those were quite tasty. Masala fries were delicious! The staff was very friendly as well!

While the place is very neat and tidy, the service is good, the food itself was not good. We ordered multiple things some of them were acceptable, one was stale and some were decent/good. The Bombay Grill Sandwich and pan were good, the Dabeli was stale and smelly. The tea and vada pav were decent. Achari paneer roll was barely acceptable. Not sure if I’d recommend the place.

Casual / walk-in place, and the food is spot-on with textures, flavors and proper preparation. Had lunch there recently, with a mix of chaats and sandwiches, and we enjoyed everything. Service was excellent – not rushed at all, and checked back with us appropriately. Will definitely go back.

I ordered the Chola Puri from Bombay Vada House and it was absolutely incredible! The puris were perfectly puffed, golden, and not at all greasy—just the way they should be. The chola was rich, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice, with every bite bursting with authentic taste. You can tell they put real heart into their cooking. The portion size was generous, and the food arrived hot and fresh. It instantly transported me to the streets of Mumbai. Highly recommend for anyone craving comforting, delicious Indian food done right. Will definitely be ordering again!
