Delicious food as usual! I ordered the $5 taco combo and received a taco, burrito and potato oles and a drink and it was all yummy! Very filling and super fast, it’s perfect for an inexpensive lunch if you need something before hopping on the interstate. Check them out!

Off the highway, truck stop and next door to the mini mart gas station, a quick stop. I was 20minutes from home, needed a restroom and was hungry. Killed 2 birds with one stone. Ordered 1 chicken flour taco and 1 chicken hard shell. Both were fresh & flavored. A stop were stopping for.

Food – Let’s talk about that.
The Buritto I had was bland and small. This company is charging BIG BUCKS for something I can buy somewhere else with twice the content and better taste.
So I happened to purchase the special (see the attached photo of the receipt), and they need to make that a permanent promotion as it accurately depicts what you should be paying for one. Yes…half the price.
Anyways, I’m not sure if these prices reflect having to pay a possible higher rent space than other locations or what, but these prices don’t make sense.
That was my last time at a Taco John.

Far better than Taco Bell! The food was great and the staff is fast and friendly. I’m very glad to have found out there’s a Taco John’s very close to Springfield, IL. I will definitely be eating there more often. Keep up the great service and quality food.

Very unhappy with their service! Had received a set of coupons thru the mail & decided to give the place a try. Went in and gave them the coupon for taco salads while ordering two at $5.55 each (limit 4). When this was entered on the register, the total was $15.02. I realized that this didn’t seem right, so I told the guy that the coupon said $5.55 each and that it ought to be a bit over $12 with tax. He responded that NO, the coupon price only was meant for ONE salad and any more were $8,50 each!
This is obviously wrong and not what was intended. The salads weren’t that great and I certainly won’t be back!
