Walk up ordering. Sit where you like. HUGE portions. We went around 1pm on a Saturday & it was pretty empty, but they had lots of orders over the phone come in for pickup during our time there. Establishment was clean & staff was kind! The food was good! The batter on the mushrooms was a little thick & crunchy for my taste, but still tasted fine! We also had mozzarella sticks, loved how the cheese stretched out & it was so tasty! The French fries were great! Strawberry shake was yummy & huge! They had several TVs with different programs on it. Our favorite was the trivia TV! I had the sammich deluxe & it was very juicy!

If you’re a wing lover like me this is the place! I’ve tried plenty of their sauces and I’m always left completely satisfied. The customer service is pretty good too! If you’re passing through Portales, visiting your child in college, or just hungry, this is the place to go!

We were in town for an overnight stay and found AJs online. It looked inviting and was within walking distance. We walked in and figured out you order at the counter and then sit down. The guy at the counter was very friendly and helpful. After a short discussion we ordered. Wife got 6 buffalo and I got 6 of house BBQ. Wow, the sauce was awesome. The house BBQ is a great blend of sweet/spicy. We also got fries, which were fresh and tasty. Next time we are in this area we WILL be visiting again.

Really good food. Staff were nice. Kinda wish they had draft beer, but they do have fountain soda and bottled soda. I got the veggie wrap and husband got wings with the ghost sauce and green chili sauce. Ghost sauce was suuuper spicy but had good flavor. Pictured is the appetizer samples which was also really yummy.

I’m always impressed with this place. If I go to a wing joint I will almost always try the very hottest sauce. Tonight I got the ghost pepper buffalo, and it was HOT. Much hotter than you’ll find at a major chain. There were times I thought I made a mistake, which is impressive to me hahaha. 10/10. Suggestion: if you order one of the hotter sauces, get the sliders. The bread is your friend (and super good).

I was skeptical at first but these were some of the best wings iv had in a long time. I got classic buffalo which were great! Classic taste but not to vinegary. My second sauce was the House sauce and that was even better!, the wings are not little baby sized wings either.
My wife got a chicken sandwich and I only got one bite but it was perfectly cooked and the batter was so flavorful had to mention it.
You could tell everything was made to order and made with care
Last the fries were delicious!
I will definitely be back to try all the other sauces and any time I’m craving a chicken sandwich.
