It was our first time at SKOG Haus Coffee & Tea on Van Ry.

I ordered a blackberry mocha. My wife and I shared it. I had a blueberry scone. She chose a cinnamon roll.

We sat down with our food between us and ate without hurry.

The coffee was sweet and smooth and rich. The pastries were fresh.

It was a good time.

We walked home in the sun.

I had this place saved and finally got to visit, and I really liked the atmosphere. I ordered one of their signature coffees, but since it was made with brewed coffee, it tasted a little mild for my preference. Next time, I want to try an espresso drink instead. The owner was really friendly and very detail oriented with customers, and it seemed like they have a lot of regulars. I loved the neighborhood hangout vibe

You can find your coffee / tea haven right here at the SKOG Haus Coffee & Tea spot!
This place is the perfect quaint cuppa happiness! The Baristas are super friendly and helpful. You will feel all the good vibes once you enter and the coffee, well that is just pure perfection!!! I had the pleasure of the large De Skog!!! Yummy!!! Get ready for full flavor with splash of cream. This place will have you doing the coffee dance! They had live music and it was great too. I really enjoyed the live guitarist ! Very conveniently located right off the rail and near major roadways. Follow the signs and your nose…. you will be glad you did!
They also offer a wide array of delicious pastries, but you better know those delights go fast! Cheers!

First time visiting and I will definitely come back! I got a flat white, which was just like the ones I’ve had in Australia and New Zealand. It’s hard to find a proper flat white outside Oceania.

The pastries are locally made and there were so many options. I got the almond pear bostock, which was delicious and not too sweet.

I liked the atmosphere and there’s ample of seating. Easy access to transit and other spots.

Hather and the gentleman here are are exceptionally friendly. The coffee is too notch. We also had their Apple turnovers which were delicious.

Impromptu stop on our way to see tulips, taking a break from this lovely traffic. (Seriously. Wtah ) Best decision of the day! Husband enjoyed his vanilla latte and I had one of the best iced vanilla chais I’ve ever had the pleasure of consuming. Heather was lovely and I can honestly see us stopping back by on our way back down on Wednesday. The restrooms are clean as is the shop and the area is so quiet. We were mildly shocked. We found a lovely little nature trail behind the building to stretch our legs a bit before getting back in the car. To yes, sit in more traffic. lol This place is wild.

It’s not exactly my favorite area to go out to, being surrounded on all sides by heavy traffic, but it’s a good enough establishment that we will literally drive 15 minutes there just for this place. Their coffee has always been really good every time we’ve gone. It might honestly be our favorite in terms of flavor (beans / roast).

I like that they know all the classics (flat white, cortado, etc…) but also have a few unique options that are not too crazy (like not drenched in sugar and syrup) such as their “De Skog”. Many places that have their own unique menu items end up just not really tasting like “coffee”, but not this place!

Took gracious care to give me just what I intended.
Just off I-5. Stopped while headed south, so glad I did.

Hands down, these guys know customer service, this lovely coffee shop is spacious with plenty of tables without it getting crowded and we got lucky enough to nab a table. We were immediately greeted warmly and all our questions answered. They also have pastries from Community Bakery which is one of our favorites. We ordered the Eldr Mocha and a Latte and yes their prices are on the higher side, but if you want to chill and try something a little different then this is the place to be. The mocha was a lovely spicy concoction, I might have to do without the nutmeg on the top as it kept getting in my nose every time I sipped lol (or maybe a little less)
