If you’re looking for a quick bite of bbq with all-you-can-eat benefits, this will get it done. The fried chicken was awesome. The pound cake was like my mama makes hers. We loved the slaw and potato salad as well. The only reason we give it a four-star rating is because the bathrooms are yucky. They need to clean the switch plates and door handles. The actual eating areas were super clean.

Traveling through Barnwell and decided to try this place. Came in and the staff were very friendly however I was immediately turned off from the looks of the buffet. The meat looked cold and dry. The mac and cheese was burnt on top and the hash looked like butterscotch pudding. I never even tried a bite. To be fair, some of the other sides looked pretty good but in general it did not look very appealing to me. Im sure there are locals and others that love this place, but it was not for me. Hard pass.

Inside dining is all you can eat ($10 a plate). Good southern fixings–ribs, pulled pork, chicken, mac and cheese, etc. They also have drive through pick-up service. Dining room was clean.

To start off the 1/2 Lemonade and 1/2 Tea was the best thing I had during our visit. The hush puppies were gummy, the fried chicken was dry no matter dark or white meat, the Mac & cheese had an “off” taste that I couldn’t place, and the desserts left a lot to be desired. Wife said the Lima Beans were good but the hash did not have any discernable porky flavor. This experience does not seem to be a “one off”. We did dine on a Saturday afternoon and people have told me in the past to dine on Thursday because the food is “more fresh” but no idea if that has any validity. Staff was courteous.

We visit every few months and take my 100 year old grandmother with us. We all enjoy the food. There’s easy access for a wheelchair, and it’s quiet enough for us to be able to hear each other. It’s not a fancy place, but it’s clean with a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.
