I am lactose intolerant so on a trip to the shop with my family I asked if the kolaches have cheese. The guy behind the counter said it depends on which one I get and I asked if the sausage did- he responds no. So I pay for one (along with other donuts) and head home only to find that it’s loaded with cheese. The thing that upsets me about this is that the cheese is leaking out of the side. He knew that it had cheese before he handed us this kolache and said nothing and let us pay for it. By the time it got home (15min) the bread was also very soggy because it was wrapped in foil

This place was goodl! We got the giant blueberry Fritter..OMG SO SO GOOD! I want to try all the flavors of fritters, I can bet they do not disappoint!! Of course you see the cinnamon roll that was as big as Sophia’s face, hahaa so good! We got a bear claw but wanted one not filled but they only carry filled ones apparently so we got it but didn’t like the filling so I would definitely put out filled and plains out as options for customers, but ok. We also got an everything bagel sandwich which was good as well. Found this place from Google!

Donuts 10/10 I got the pistachio and the glazed twist. Soft, fluffy, and not too sweet. The breakfast croissant was okay. The coffee was interesting I got Bromley High it’s not bad.

Delicious!!! The sandwich was $6 and tasty. The pineapple fritter was delicate, crispy, tender and mouth watering. They also have apple, blueberry, cherry and raspberry fritters. The johnboy was impressive. It was light and flaky and the creamy goodness of the vanilla stuffing will have you licking the paper.

Wow! Great Doughnuts!
We ordered the Blueberry Fritter, Cherry fritter, pineapple fritter, blueberry cake, chocolate cake with coconut, sprinkled raised, long John with Bavarian cream and long John with cream.
Every single doughnut was so good.
Still a good selection of doughnuts at 3:30pm.
Staff were friendly.
Had a couple tables inside and they were clean.

Was looking for a new spot to try and saw them. The atmosphere was wonderful! Donuts are great! Such a good verity. The young lady at the register was delightful! I was new to the restaurant and she was very patient and knowledgeable about my questions. Such a hidden gem. If your in the area you should definitely check them out!

I don’t even know what to write really. I was praying we get a local donut shop that is not a major chain store like King Soopers etal…
So I was really excited to see were finally getting one, albeit it’s at the other end of town(old part as I call it).
Today was the first day I could stop by to see what’s up.
Came in and was amazed at their selections. I mean they have a lot more than I would have imagined.
So I decided to sample as many as possible so I went for the mix box for a dozen.
I grabbed the filled donuts and a few regular donuts.
I had forgotten my wallet but they do accept phone pay, I was able to use my phone to Google pay so saving me an embarrassing 30 min round trip just to go retrieve the wallet.
Now I’m sitting here at home with a cup of coffee devouring them.
They are so soft and not dense like most found at local stores. And they are delicious.
So my verdict?
Best donut shop around not even close.
I wasn’t expecting much and had lowered my expectation but they blew the whole thing out of the park.
And the people working there they’re so nice and did not rush me any. It is Tuesday and 8 AM and wasn’t busy at all either.
Definitely support them if you love pastries. I also saw some Barista style coffee machines in there so seems they may serve coffee? I did not ask. Will update my next visit after I ask.
Just word of advice for people who want a quick service or impatient people, right now is a soft opening so it’s not full speed yet so be patient. But it’s worth it.

This place is a welcome new restaurant in Brighton! I wish it was a Winchell’s, but that is just the old school in me coming out! They have a lot of awesome doughnuts, flavors, toppings, and they make breakfast sandwiches too! The atmosphere is really nice, indoor or outdoor seating, and a mixed dozen is only $16.99 which includes the non glazed doughnuts! If you want a morning doughnut give this place a try! If you get Kaylynn as the person helping you, she does an amazing job and is very polite!

They have gluten free donuts!! They are only available on the weekend, but I am a super sensitive celiac and was able to eat these without any consequences! They even had more than one flavor, which is super rare. I just wish they did cream/frosting filled ones.

The Doughnut Social is more than doughnuts! It has an awesome selection including various flavors of Terrific Fritters, fabulous Cinnamon Rolls, and even Italian Cannolis! The Coffee is fabulous and the staff will chat with you when they can. I am ever so thankful they’re located in Brighton and carry a huge variety of great treats to eat and the prices are fitting for the amount and quality you get. Their fritters come in a variety of flavors, and the donuts are just ever so good. Please, do yourself a favor and check it out the next time you’re at the corner of Bromley Lane and Sable Blvd and treat yourself to great breakfast treats to satisfy your cravings and appetite! It doesn’t get better than theirs in Brighton!
