Alo Viet is my new go-to spot for Bun Bo Hue! The spicy oxtail broth is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, and the meat is fall-off-the-bone tender. The seafood pho was equally delicious with fresh squid and a comforting, full-bodied soup. Even the pork and char siu banh mi tasted authentic and fresh. Such a hidden gem for anyone craving a great bowl of pho! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience dining at Alo Viet Kitchen. We went there for dinner and ordered the Oxtail Bún Bò Huế (oxtail, sliced beef brisket, beef shank and pork meatballs in spicy beef broth) and The Ultimate Vermicelli Bowl with Satê Beef, Grilled Pork and Satê Chicken. The delicious dish was served with bean sprouts, lettuce, cucumber, pickled carrots and topped with green onions and peanuts. Both dishes tasted so delicious and appetizing! Friendly staff, nice ambiance and awesome food… we will be back!

Atmosphere 4 star because the floor was very dirty trough out the restaurant, would be much appreciated if a little cleaning would be done. I know that is the season and snow+salt on the sidewalk but this is my own opinion.
Overall 5 star great work guys keep up the good cooking.

I have never had such a joyful lunch. When we visited Calgary last week, our friends took us to this restaurant to experience savoury Vietnamese food. Every dish we ordered was flavourful. The place was cheerful and vibrant with comfortable seating. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

This was the first pho I had after coming to Canada, and I was so satisfied! The staff were very friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. I wasn’t sure which protein to choose, but I went with the staff’s recommendation of three kinds, and it turned out amazing! A 5-star rating is definitely not given for nothing. The shrimp rolls were also really tasty! If you visit, make sure to try the shrimp rolls and the peanut satay pho!

They are not stingy with the lime, very good portion for pho. If you like clean tasting broth this is the place. Going to be one of my favourites NW pho place from now on. Only recommendations I have is to reduce the noodle and add more lettuce to the shrimp salad roll.

Food was quite good. Portion size was fantastic and the toppings were great. Delicious spring rolls. Unfortunately the rice noodles for whatever reason came out soft and mushy and it simply couldn’t hold its structure. Maybe it was just a one-off because everything else was great but the noodles breaking when stirred or lifted is just a shame.

First time check out this place and had a fantastic meal. Really enjoyed their spicy tofu & bo la lot for appetizers. The tofu is so flavorful. My friend had the spicy beef noodle soup and said it’s one of the best he had. Will be back soon!

We wanted to ask if we could apprentice in the kitchen to learn to cook the Lemongrass Pork Chop…WOW!!!
We also shared a warm soothing bowl of Pho which was everything we hoped it would be!
Street parking out front which we had no problem with even with a large campervan.
Staff polite and attentive. The restaurant was very clean.

By far one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Calgary! We tried their oxtail bun bo hue and the ultimate bowl. Highly recommend! Great depth of flavour and soup base.
