Coffee Attic and Book Cellar is one of those rare places that instantly feels like home. Whether you’re stopping in for a perfectly brewed cup of coffee or looking for a quiet corner to read, write, or relax, this place has it all. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a unique blend of cozy coffeehouse vibes upstairs and a treasure trove of books below in the cellar.
The coffee is consistently excellent – rich, smooth, and made with care. I tried their latte and a seasonal scone, both of which were absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready with a recommendation, whether it’s for a new brew or a good book.
Downstairs in the Book Cellar is where the magic continues – shelves upon shelves of books ranging from classics to hidden gems. It’s the perfect spot for book lovers to browse and discover something new.

We had originally tried Coffee Attic at the Iowa Falls Hospital and decided to go to the actual location. The drinks and food were wonderful, and the atmosphere of the place was perfect for a slow relaxing morning! Nice location right off main street.

This is a great little coffee shop and bookstore. The staff is great, and since this is a small town everyone knows everyone. The banter was worth hearing because it shows the small-town feel you often don’t see. The menu was actually pretty diverse and there is something for everyone. They have plenty of baked goods too. The whole shop is also a store filled with knickknacks, merch for the store, and even local art. There’s a lot of seating and even games for the community to play. If you ever find yourself here in Iowa Falls, this is a place worth checking out.

We stopped in as we were visiting my sister in the area and the coffee is outta this world. I got the iced coffee attic mocha and it is one my favorite coffees thus far (I like to try new shops every where we visit) . We ended up going back the next day and we got the coffee attic mocha frozen and added peanut butter and that was even more amazing!! Staff is very friendly and the shop is so welcoming we will definitely go back on our next visit.

Good coffee, Good atmosphere, terrible book selection. It’s like they took books from my grandmother’s house and put them on display. I would recommend you bring your own book and order a coffee.

Ain’t this cute?! Coffee shop on the main level, book on the lower level and a lounging area on the upper level that can be rented for meetings and parties. Staff is very friendly. Decor has something to look at no matter where you look. Kleenex holder and a coffee table look like stacks of books. A sliding barn door is used to create a hallway. And along the xeiling is a collection of coffee pots. Oh the ceiling, it is an ornate tin ceiling and even has a sky light. So awesome!! I believe this is handicap accessible, kid friendly and has free street parking.

Top tier coffee shop. Incredibly cozy atmosphere, great coffee, and good music. There’s places to sit and chat, tables to work or play one of their many board games at, and even a small book store in the basement. If you find yourself in Iowa Falls, it’s a must stop.

I absolutely love the atmosphere, and could spend all day here! While there were a lot of syrup favors and some fun things on the menu, from a coffee perspective there are very few choices. The coffee options were all very bright and acidic.
