Wow! California Taco Shop in North Providence is a game-changer! I couldn’t be more thrilled about this new location. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the mouthwatering aroma of authentic Mexican cuisine.

I ordered food to pick up online and the cashier was very rude and frustrated like she was having a bad day. Didn’t say hi just asked if I was picking up,ordering and then the cost of food. Mineral Spring Ave already has traffic so it’s off my list now

We ordered a $150 food order through door dash. When we got the order we thought we were missing the order. With no questions asked the manager said he’d request a delivery and send the order AND chips to apologize. I got a call back shortly after and turns out the order missing was boxed with other tacos that were accidentally eaten on our part. The locations still send the tacos from our mix up. GREAT management and customer service!!! Great food as well. Will always order from this location now 🙂

Atmosphere was a 3 only because of the music was blaring over our table and conversations were hard to have. Food was superb. Service was good, nothing extra. Utensils were plastic not firm. Definitely go for the food.

You can never go wrong with food from here. It’s ALWAYS GOOD. It’s my favorite go to spot in all of RI. Especially here where it’s small and secluded but stands out the most for me with food and customer service. Plenty of California tacos in RI but this one is by far the BEST one in my opinion.

I was really disappointed hardly any meat in the soft tacos steak or chicken!!! Not like when you go to Dexter Street, or central Ave! Then the refried beans were like soup, who does that and the rice wasn’t fresh the put it in the microwave cause it still clumps stuck together

This location just opened maybe a week ago and I am sooooo happy it opened!!!! The grilled chicken tastes soooo good omg! I no longer have to drive to Johnston for good flavored meat at California taco shop! (All the other locations don’t season their meats very well and their spicy red sauce don’t be spicy or very tasty) between here and Johnston location I refuse to go anywhere else!!!!
