On September 28, 2025, at 1:30 PM, I attempted to purchase coffee and a bottle of caramel syrup at your establishment. Upon requesting the syrup, the cashier stated that they were unable to fulfill the request. I politely informed the cashier that a store located 35 miles away consistently accommodates this request. The cashier responded with a dismissive attitude, stating that they were not that store and could not fulfill the request.

I then stated that I would obtain the syrup from the other store. This is not the first instance of encountering unprofessional conduct from your staff. Consequently, I will no longer patronize this location due to the consistently poor customer service. As a local resident, I am disappointed that I must travel a significant distance to receive the level of service I require. I recommend that your store address the issue of staff attitude to improve the overall customer experience.

15 Minutes I wait for a coffee, no one in line. The ladies chatting it up and are just setting 6/7 drinks down next to each other on the counter with no name on the drinks… and not a single employee announcing the orders as they come out. Having to guess which coffee is mine is absolutely ridiculous. Do better .

My drink was great but I had a question about the protein drinks and the man I spoke with was SOOOO condescending I try not to bother employees too much because I know their jobs are hard but i just felt like the whole interaction was so unnecessarily rude

I’ve only come here a few times and the other employees have always been so sweet but if you see a man with glasses I’d steer clear

Big Country Predator Exposure
We caught a child predator meeting a perceived 13 yo here and then the plan was to go back to the minors house. The staff was super supportive of the cause. Made sure that we had everything we needed and applauded us for our efforts. For the record the predator was already a convicted lifetime RSO that was arrested on site. Thank you to the staff for all the support.

I can’t say enough good things about this Starbucks. It’s the only worthy coffee shop in town. They are friendly, and patient if you don’t know the menu. They are thorough in making sure you are getting exactly what you want. They are the only Starbucks shop that asks me if I’d like room in my Americano, which is nice because other locations don’t ask and when I specify, they somehow make me feel pretentious by eye-rolling or huffing, like it’s some sort of trouble to put less ice in my coffee. But these folks are happy to go the extra mile! (And no one has misspelled my name as of yet. I’ve managed to see some humorous misspellings in my lifetime.) This location is connected to a bookstore and doesn’t have a drive-thru, which I believe is due to the building location and catering to the Depauw University demographic & local business around the square. Also, parking is either parallel or on the square, so be prepared to walk. It’s truly not far, but can be an inconvenience in the rain or snow. Even still, I’d walk in treacherous weather conditions to get a coffee from there, I can’t say enough great things about them!

This store used to be great. Idk what has happened, but the past few years it has declined tremendously.
Every time I order, I am disappointed.
Wait times are up to an hour for ONE DRINK.
The app gives you no idea on wait times until AFTER you order, which then, you cannot cancel for a refund.
Today, I waited an HOUR for a drink after placing an order on the app.
While inside, I noticed per usual only 2 employees behind the counter. Both moving at very snail pace. Did not care at all to try and move a little quicker for the sake of the 30 people waiting over 40 minutes for a DRINK. This place needs mad intervention. Just honest.

I understand the baristas are trying their best with what they have, but as a customer some things need to be addressed. When I went up to the register I couldn’t hear a thing. Why? Because some girl was vacuuming the coffee dispenser machine out. I’m hard of hearing so I couldn’t even hear what I was saying. I ordered and was watching them make my drink through the expresso machine while the other one was being vacuumed which doesn’t seem very sanity. I asked why they were doing that. They told me the both expresso machine had been braking down all day. I get that you got to work with what your given, but maybe next time we can close? So your beens aren’t flying everywhere. I don’t need an eye taken out. Starbucks drinks are already expensive. Can’t y’all buy a million knew one of those?

Ordered a single drink, the man at the counter had me repeat myself several times, when i got the drink it was not how i ordered it, asked them to redo it politely eventhough i was extremely agitated from having to repeat myself several times, they somehow got my drink back to me quicker than they took to make it, had a sip, and it tastes nothing like how i ordered it. Im extremely upset with the service i received today, i just left because i wasnt going to repeat myself another three times.
