What a great dining experience. Entres are big enough to take home leftovers. Pictured are an appetizer of onion rings, chicken florentine, prine rib and kids mac & cheese. Our waitrees was wonderful. The salad bar is great and the atmosphere was very nice.

This was my 1st time going here. It took 25-30 minutes for food to get to our table. The table was very wobbly but they did fix it. The food was ok but the prices might prevent me from going back. They do offer FREE REFRILLS on their soda drinks. Other beverages are reasonably priced.
The staff was very friendly and checked on us multiple times. The place got very busy and as soon as tables left, they were already seating new customers. I’d go back only to try a steak of some type to get a different taste of the food. I had catfish and mozzarella sticks which were ok.
Last night 8-26-2022-we sat at the bar for the 1st time. We had an incredible female server and she made me a peach Mule and a house drink with strawberry puree that was delicious. I had amazing fried catfish fillet and cheese balls. We both left a big tip.

I can’t even start to explain how amazing and tender this filet mignon was. I cut the entire thing with a fork. The Big Eddie even treated like steak. Outstanding and we will drove the little over an hour to go back again. Wow 10 million stars to them!

The waitress was very nice and did a good job. The food was terrible other than the onion rings and cheese curds- They were great but the rest of our food was inedible. We ate there a couple of years ago and it was fantastic so we decided to go again for the broasted chicken. The web site menu showed it to be an option but they removed it when they changed locations. We ordered catfish which tasted like a lake bottom and chicken strips which were nasty.
It is now in a basement and is more like a dive bar atmosphere. It is sketchy at best as you have to go down a side street and enter through a door that is hard to see from the street. They really screwed this place up in our opinion. I’m giving them one star only because the cheese curds and onion rings were good. The waitress was great so she gets all the stars.

Tried this restaurant for the first time on Valentine’s Day. Was busy but service and food were very good! Highly recommended!

The homemade onion rings are great, the half order is enough for probably 6 people. They have an all you can eat salad bar that’s great too!

We have eaten at Ludlows for years. The food always been top notch but had the prime rib and it was tough and had no flavor. Not sure what has changed. Hoping it was just an off night. We love the mushrooms off the appetizer menu and pizza is delicious. Would love see more options on salad bar. Waitresses are awesome! Very attentive.

I always make it a point to grab a tenderloin when I’m in a new to me Iowa town. Without a doubt this was one of the best I’ve ever had. Sorry for no pictures; I was busy enjoying this perfectly seasoned and breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. The service was amazing,food came out quickly and fresh. I will definitely be going back when I’m in town again.
