We started with bang bang shrimp with Asian slaw. Incredible! My husband had swordfish with spinach and butternut squash potatoes. Soups: tomato soup and clam chowder. Both were the best we ever had. I had delicious Michigan whitefish on a bed of arugula salad! Most definitely my favorite restaurant. Eager to go again.

Food is ultra fresh. I ordered the soft shell crab. My husband had the deep fried perch. My entree began with an incredible clam chowder.

More than the quality of the food, this is such a thoughtful restaurant. Great care is taken in the ordering.

We celebrated our anniversary with an amazing meal and super service from our charming server, Josi! Everything was fantastic!

Our experience at Timothy’s was outstanding! Our server, Kingsley, was fun and attentive! I really enjoyed the fresh Alaskan Halibut special!
Served with truffled potatoes and tomato vinaigrette. The addition of the tempura battered oyster mushroom was a rock star bite!
My wife enjoyed one of the other specials. The bacon, onion crusted Walleye with fresh berries and lemon basil butter was a hit! A super fun evening!

We had a wonderful dining experience here last night celebrating our wedding anniversary. The 8 for $18 entree menu was available on Sunday evening and I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and my husband ordered the lamb shank. They were both fantastic!!
We started our meal by first ordering the calamari with a curry & roast shallot mayo and also the featured smoked pecan old fashioned cocktails. The calamari was even better than I remembered. The apple crisp à la mode that we shared was the perfect finish.
We did end up taking half our entrees home and I am looking forward to enjoying part 2 tonight!

Nice atmosphere, and our waiter was excellent. The seafood was fresh. The soward fish could have used more spices, and the hollandaise sauce was a little weak.
Sea bass is one of my favorite fish. It was very good except that it was covered with raw bean sprouts and had a very sweet sauce. For my taste, sugar should not be used on a naturally delicious piece of fish.
I would definitely be coming back to try other menu items and daily specials.

We were very excited to participate in the NYE guest chef and live music festivities Timothy’s had planned. The event was pricey, but it was NYE, so we were excited for a special evening out. We had secured 8:30 reservations weeks in advance. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and were told we were too early and needed to wait. Totally understandable. However when it was 9:15 before we obtained first come, first served seats at the bar and escalated to John the manager, we were told that he would not ask diners to vacate our table despite the fact that they had already paid their bill. We were told that reservations were “just a suggestion – that we should not count on getting our table at that time.” On a holiday celebration such as this, which was not inexpensive, wouldn’t it have been appropriate for diners to be told that they would need to vacate by 8:30 to accommodate commitments previously made with reservations? The wait staff seemed confused and not adequate for the event – filling some water glasses, leaving to get more water and not returning to the table. That said, the food was delicious, and music very good. If Timothy’s plans to have more special events like this, they really need to improve their customer service and restaurant management.

This place has been on my list to try for quite awhile now and we finally made the 40 min drive to celebrate my son’s birthday and also have a final nice meal out for awhile before our new baby comes.

Positives: The place is very cute and cozy. Lots of close by parking. The kids meal options and portions are great. My 7 year old appreciated getting to order a kids steak versus the usual few items restaurants tend to offer. The meal included fries, broccoli and ice cream which was a pretty good deal.

What needs improvement: They weren’t very busy at all, but it took over 10 minutes for anyone to come greet us or take our drink orders. Our waitress was a nice lady, but the service in general was just very slow. That would be totally fine if on an intimate date where you wanted to sit and sip drinks and get to know each other, but with 2 kids, an hour and 45 minute dining experience is too long.

I indicated in our reservation we were celebrating a birthday but there was no acknowledgement whatsoever. Not sure why they ask in the reservation if nothing special is done ‍♀️. We were also charged a random “restaurant fee” on our bill. Not sure what that is about either.

The biggest letdown of everything was our steaks were all overcooked. If I am paying $64 for a steak, I expect perfection and they definitely missed the mark here. The waitress agreed that it was not cooked how I ordered and offered to have it remade, however, as I mentioned, the service was very slow and I was not willing to wait with my antsy kids for another 30 minutes to recieve a new meal.

Overall a mediocre experience which is such a bummer because I was really excited to try it out.

Disappointed! Locals had good comments about the restaurant but disappointed from the start. Dinner reservation made a month plus in advance and we ended up being seated in the bar area. Waited between 8-10 min for server to come and even great us to bring water. Another 10 min for our drink order to come. Watched them make them and they sat at the end of the bar waiting for the server. Finally had server come back and take app order for calamari…it came out, was dropped off and server left but it was under done. Calamari over firm and breading barely cooked it seemed. No re-fill on water even. Filled it myself from water container left on corner between our table and the booths adjacent to the bar next to where we were sitting. Placed the food order finally and soup was probably the best part of the meal then. I ordered the Snake River Farm Wagyu medium which came out mostly well and absolutely drowning in their Creole mustard aioli and my girlfriend had ordered the Faro Island salmon with peanut noodles. Start to end was almost 2 hours for that simple of a dinner out. Tables were sitting uncleared for up to 15 minutes also. Couldn’t tell if short staffed or what. Won’t be going back.

Been to this restaurant several times prior. Had 7pm reservations for Friday 2/13/26. Treating my wife to what I anticipated to be wonderful valentines dinner.
When I arrived, there were 5 other parties standing in line, in front of the hostess stand. Not trying to be rud, I patiently waited with the others for 10 minutes. Conversing with the other guests, we all had reservations for 7. The hostess did not attempt to great any of us. Expected us to wait in line until she had the time to provide us a table. We were seated finally around 7:30pm.

Known for Lobster, we went with the anticipation of having Lobster. Something most restaurants who serve lobster would have featured on Valentines weekend. Nope… We aren’t offering lobster this weekend.

So very disappointed, my wife orders the hawiian style chicken sandwich… She get’s her sandwich and no pineapple on the sandwich… When asked about the hawiian chicken sandwich not having pineapple, we are told they are out of pineapple. No mention of it when ordering it, or having the waitress return to ask if we wanted something different. Just deal with it.

Not impressed. This isn’t Culvers, or a diner, it’s is billed as fine dining. Wasn’t fine last night.
