WARNING THIS IS A BAR AND COULD OFFENDED SOME PEOPLE THAT DON’T LIKE THE BIKER BAR SCENE. Snickers & Restaurant is a great place to come for a early lunch especially if you want BBQ. Today I had their half rack ribs and two sides special it only cost $12.79 and it was great. They have some flat screen TVs, dart board, pool table, and a big bar. Staff was very friendly they offered great options from the menu. If you want a break from the traditional style BBQ and like smoked style BBQ I recommend this restaurant.

This place is awesome! I’ve been driving by for years, boy do I regret it. They smoked all their own meat here and they get it right. The BBQ brisket is amazing and it comes as a sandwich or a wrap. They have great combos so don’t forget the seasoned wedges. This may be the cleanest hometown bar I’ve been in! Stop in they serve lunch, you won’t regret it.

I used to go here many years ago but got out of the habit. I heard the sad news.that it had closed. For me, even though I didn’t go often, it was nice having it as an option. I recently saw on Facebook that they had reopened under new management. In a concerted effort to support them, I stopped in for lunch. I had a simple cheese burger because, for me, that’s the test of bar food. Snickers passed my assessment with no problem! The burger was perfectly prepared juicy and flavorful and the toppings were fresh and generous. The only possible suggestion is that I wish the patty was a bit larger to fill out the bun. Their beer selection is currently somewhat limited but the just did reopen and are sti setting up suppliers. I look forward to stopping by for a Guinness at some point. As a side note… a week later.i stopped back for a small pepperoni pizza to go. I have seen several recommendations for their pizza and I am now also a fan!

If you have not been there since it reopened about 8 weeks ago then don’t bother with the old reviews.
They have very good food and the staff and atmosphere are great. We have been in there 4 or 5 times and my wife has met friends in there and they all like it.
The first time I was in Snickers (at least the location) was roughly 54 years ago so I have quite a few changes.
