We had dinner at Chance Bar and enjoyed our evening. We orderd several appetizers and got a couple bottles of wine. We were sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and was able of offer suggestions. The food came out hot and fresh. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy. The deviled eggs are a must!

Always a fabulous time at Chance. This is a great foodie spot, if you like different types of flavors. We went to try the savor Fort Wayne menu, but I went with the regular menu items since there was new food to try. I had the couscous dish and it was a wonderful flavor bomb ( in a good way) the artichoke fritters were amazing and the grilled sweet potatoes, just wow. I only able to take this photo before it got devoured.

My wife and I had a wonderful date night at Chance Bar. The food was delicious across the board, and the service was truly impeccable; the staff really knows how to take care of you. We finished with the bread pudding; unfortunately, the sauce had a bit of a burnt taste to it, which was the only letdown of the meal.

Pro-tip: The parking lot is quite small, so be prepared to find a spot on the street. Despite the dessert hiccup, we’d definitely visit again!

We celebrated our anniversary at Chance Bar and enjoyed our experience. Our server was attentive and respectful of our need for time to look over the menu. So many delicious ootions, it was hard to choose! We shared a spinach salad that came in a chilled bowl, delivered to our table by the chef. Spinach salad, the best I’ve had in Fort Wayne. We had a fried chicken sandwich with potatoes. The sauce on the chicken did not overwhelm, all the flavors, textures combined were perfect! We also had the steak dish, very good! A variety of colorful sauces made the steak a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds.
Seriously delicious wine and craft beer too.
Candlight made for a romantic setting.
Perfect place for a date night.
Thank you to all the staff here who helped make our night special.

I Highly Recommend because of the excellent service, Amazing Food, and the overall Atmosphere. The local fried mushrooms started everything off well. My husband had the Pork and Beans which were delicious. I had the Ricotta Gnocchi which were like eating tiny little pillows just as our server, Nick, described. The beer bread seemed to flow well with both meal choices. We will definitely be returning again many times in the future.
Also, Thank you for supporting our local artists in your cozy establishment.

Exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be back. Ben is such a gem & Corey the owner/chef even brought the dishes out himself excellent experience from start to finish I can’t wait to return.

This is my favorite restaurant period. The food is made with a secret ingredient called love, and it shines through. Ive had “one of the best burgers I’ve ever had” over and over again, which is hard. As well as some the best oysters I’ve had, regardless of region. Truly spoiled to have this locally. If they offer a dish, there is a good “Chance” it will be the best version of it you’ve had.

Tried this place out after Googling somewhere close to an event we had to be at. Knowing nothing about it I made a reservation, as that was an option on the Google page.
We were seated right away. There was a limited option for beers and soft drinks- sounded like they were not fully stocked. I ordered a Sprite, wife had water.
Ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer. They were sweet as opposed to savory- which I’ve never had so that was part of the decision process. They were good.
I had the salmon and my wife had the burger special. That took a very long time to come out. The salmon was good, cooked perfectly. The vegetables that accompanied it were not my favorite but that’s part of trying new things- now I know. My wife enjoyed her burger.
I did ask to have another can of Sprite when the food came out. That did not happen. All in all I might try them again if I was already in the area but would not make a special trip. Would probably try something new both appetizer and entrée.

My wife and I had an outstanding experience at Chance Bar in Fort Wayne. The food, service, and atmosphere all came together to create one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time.

We started off with the fried local mushrooms and bacon-wrapped dates, and both appetizers were phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For the main course, I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger, and it did not disappoint. It was juicy, rich, and layered with incredible flavor. I think it changed my mind on adding sweet pickles to my burgers!

But the star of the evening was the bread pudding. I can say, without hesitation, that it was the best dessert I’ve ever eaten. The texture was perfect, and the dark caramel topping added a level of depth and complexity that took the dish to a whole new level. I felt cozy and enlightened at the same time!

The service was fantastic as well. Our waiter was not only friendly and personable, but extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Every question we asked came with a thoughtful, helpful answer.

The overall vibe of Chance Bar is warm, casual, and inviting—upscale American food with very inspired flavors, served in a comfortable setting. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in.

Highly recommend. If you’re anywhere near Fort Wayne and want a memorable meal, Chance Bar is absolutely worth the visit.

Went here for dinner last week after hearing mixed things, and honestly it was a pretty solid experience. The place had a relaxed vibe, nothing fancy, but comfortable enough to sit and enjoy a meal. Service was friendly and not rushed, which I appreciated. Food came out at a decent time and everything tasted fresh. I wouldn’t say it blew my mind, but the flavors were good and portions were fair for the price. A couple dishes could’ve used a little more seasoning, but overall no real complaints. I’d come back again if I was in the area and wanted something easy and reliable.
