Born out of a passion for Filipino flavors and a desire to share them with the world, Cafe 86 was founded by Ginger and James who saw an opportunity to introduce the rich and diverse tastes of the American Filipino to a wider audience. Our journey began with a simple mission: to bring the unique essence of Ube to everyone we serve.

Try a few items, I come from the valley love food am a foodie . The Turon should be call something else . Doesn’t taste like it . If I compare to turon 1/5 on its own 3/5 . Halo halo 3/5 they are Lucky there is only another place that sells halo halo in Lancaster . It also sucks . Pastrami sandwich 3/5 . It’s more of a grill cheese with pastrami inside . The place looks amazing from outside and inside too but no parking in the back . Crazy . I also saw their close times and it’s so early . I thought it’ll be a perfect spot for late hang out . But like the rest of av everything closes early . The have theme with ae86 car , I compare it to Fujiwara Tofu Cafe in El Monte . And doesn’t come close . I’m sure with some time and help it’ll get there and I hope they will as I live in Lancaster and love seeming new places open and wish them the best ….. but they need some work on their food . Prices are ok . Just the pastry’s are expensive , I rather drive one hour and get some good food , but that’s just me- kinda hard to please as I like to eat good tasting food .

If you want a taste of LA but don’t want to drive in the city then this is the cafe for you.

Took my family here and we had a lot of fun trying it out and tasting the food and drinks.

We got the Ube milk tea and monster shake with oat milk and they were really flavored and tasted good. Then we got the turkey pesto sandwich with chips and let me tell you the sandwich was really good.

Definitely a neat little spot to hit up for any occasion and it’s family friendly.

Halo halo in the antelope valley?!? This place is a hidden gem fan by some amazing staff members. First off walking in the design of the store is top notch and the desserts are amazing. The manger jules recommended the bread pudding warmed up with a scoop of ube ice cream and it did not disappoint!! The serving was probably meant to be shared but I ended up eating the whole thing by myself! Definitely will be coming back here since it’s hard to get good ube in the antelope valley!

As a Phillipino establishment, they specialize in Taro dessert, such as Ube cupcakes and Halo Halo drinks. Awesome place for unique take on desserts, especially if you’re looking for something different from the usual Boba or ice cream.

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly. I ordered the caramel latte, and it was really good—smooth, flavorful, and made just right. Definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone looking for a good coffee

I went during a break plus the place had no customer so it should have been a quick visit. After waiting around for a while they asked what I was waiting for and I had to repeat my order a few times but it was only two pastries It took them longer than twelve minutes, the duration of my break, to wait to heat up one pastry ( I had been here for another visit and ordered three drink and two pastries it took a total of 15 minutes) but I had to leave since my break had ended before it was finished since it took them two minutes of talking after telling me it would be a minute to heat up to finally put the pastryto heat . Came back about 2 hour later and was offered the cold bread pudding that had already been heated. I was then given the same pudding after I asked for a fresh one or just a refund only difference heated up for a second time and put with the wrong ice cream on top. Food was dry as a result and as seen in the picture as well.
