I had an incredible meal at Kuromon Sushi. Everything was incredibly fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. The way they blend Japanese technique with Peruvian flavors is truly special and feels intentional, not gimmicky.
The real standout for me was the sashimi. Easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Each cut was pristine, perfectly seasoned, and let the quality of the fish shine. You can immediately tell how much care goes into sourcing and preparation.
A special shoutout to Giovanni, the chef and owner, who personally came by to say hello and check in. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable and shows how much pride he takes in his restaurant.
I went on a Thursday night and it was fairly quiet, which made for a relaxed, intimate dining experience. The service was also excellent. Attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without feeling rushed.
And do not skip dessert. The dulce de leche molten cake was unreal. Warm, rich, and the perfect way to end the meal.
If you’re in South Beach and love high-quality sushi with a unique twist, Kuromon is a must. I’ll absolutely be back.

Kuromon is easily the best new sushi addition to Miami Beach. Inspired by the famous Osaka market, this spot brings serious Japanese precision with a refreshing Peruvian twist. We started with the Salmon Tiradito and the Truffle Salmon Nigiri—the fish was incredibly fresh and literally melted in my mouth.
You have to try their signature rolls; the Acevichado and the Kuromon Nikkei are absolute standouts. The flavors are bold and intentional, not gimmicky. The atmosphere is sleek and calm, making it perfect for a date night or a high-quality neighborhood dinner without the typical South Beach price tag.
Also, their happy hour (4-7 PM) is a total steal for the quality you get. Service was attentive and genuine. A true 5-star gem that North Beach really needed. I’ll be a regular here!

So glad I discovered this place! Easily got a table at 7pm on a Sunday. Really delicious and fresh fish. Favorite bites were the hamachi handroll, the maguro nikkei nigiri and the salmon tiradito. David was an awesome server and gave amazing reccs! Definitely get sushi here if you’re in the area!

From the moment we arrived, the owners—Chef Giovanni and his wife Andhiny—made us feel at home with their genuine warmth and attention to detail. Our server, David, was friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with great recommendations.

Kuromon Sushi is honestly one of my new favorite spots. The fish is super fresh, the rolls are beautiful, and everything tastes so clean and flavorful. The Peruvian Japanese mix makes every bite a little different in the best way. The seared salmon and scallop nigris and the hand rolls were my favorites. The vibe is calm, cute, and the service is great too. Definitely a place you want to keep coming back to!! 10 out of 10!!!

First time in Miami and this was right down the street from our hotel. The atmosphere was so warm and cozy and the service was absolutely amazing! We got a mix of different things, but as a vegan, I was extremely glad that they still had options for me. The vegetable classic roll was so fresh, and the miso soup was amazing and not too seaweed-y (which is perfect for my taste!) It was our first time trying Sake too, and our server made picking the right one for our taste very easy and informative. Definitely stopping by again if we ever come back to Miami, and I cannot recommend this place more!

We pass by Kuromon often, and it has quickly become one of our favorite sushi spots since it opened last year. The sushi is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. Kuromon is an incredible example of a restaraunt with a heart and a menu that is so incredibly thoughtful and delicious. The atmosphere is calm and full of intentional Japanese design. The service was warm, friendly and welcoming. And the food…the food was so delicious. The hand rolls were fresh and yummy. The tuna tataki was melt in the mouth and its sauce was addictive. Overall, a must go. The chef and owner Gio was a brilliant guy and hope he goes far.

Kuromon has easily become my go-to sushi spot. I come here every week because it’s consistently incredible. Their salmon truffle nigiri is out of this world and don’t get me started on the Wagyu nigiri… Every roll I’ve tried has been so delicious that it’s honestly hard to pick a favorite. The quality, taste, and overall experience at Kuromon make it one of the best sushi spots around. If you love fresh, flavorful sushi with delicious nigiri, this place is a must!
