Best bread EVER! And Thom is one of the nicest most genuine small business owners we have ever met. The multigrain sourdough is so delicious I have to have it all the time. It’s best as loaded avocado toast! Or garlic bread! Or sandwiches! And the cinnamon swirl made French toast that was mouth watering! The bakery staff is always so friendly and accommodating. They are happy to serve you and want you to be satisfied.

Maybe I just went in on a bad day. I stopped in because I really wanted a sourdough loaf for some soup.
First walked in and no one said hello or asked if I needed help.
Loaves were all labeled on a bakers rack – pretty self explanatory. I will say I have seen other people’s posted pictures of this place and it had boxes and racks all over the place. There really wasn’t anywhere to walk except to the one rack and the counter.

No prices listed. I grabbed the sourdough but it didn’t look like sourdough. Label said it was so I grabbed that, a chocolate chip muffin and a 1/4 of the tomato pie. Total was just shy of $25. Which $11 for a loaf of bread is outrageous but if it is really good then I can see why.
Ate the muffin in the car – it was ok – the sourdough was not sourdough. No hard crust, no flavor at all, def not worth $11. I gave 1 star because I haven’t tried the tomato pie yet (which was ripped and not cut with a knife because the edge is all wonky) and again it was my first time visiting (and probably only time) visiting and maybe I just got a mislabeled loaf.

Not great.

Im going to be real, I dont fully understand all the positive reviews. We got 1 breakfast sandwich, 1 bagel with cream cheese, and 1 loaf of chocolate bread and it was a little over $32. Im so sorry but we could have gone to a sit down restaurant and had big breakfasts for that price. Not to mention the bagels were okay but nothing stood out to us at all. The atmosphere, I get it, it’s a bakery, but it just felt thrown together and bare. The chocolate loaf was $16 for a large loaf. I can go to Roots farmers market and get local bread for 1/3 of that price. There isn’t anything that stands out to me that would justify that price. Elsewhere bread company I would understand high prices, they use einkorn flour thats locally harvested and much of their products are intricate specialty breads. But this is essentially just a loaf of sweet bread with some chocolate in it. Overall, the food didn’t taste bad or anything, but the price just seems way off base to me for the offerings are.

Dude this guy rocks! I was on vacation looking for the perfect place to get family dinner and I was a hero for bringing to my hotel Thom’s Bread! The salad and the pizza was perfection! and Thom hooked me up with some waffles and granola. Awesome food! Going back to Lancaster just to have more!

So I chose Thom’s for a nye girls night based on a recommendation. What I found is 1. Amazing pizza. Beautiful thin crust which as a former new yorker I really appreciate. Fresh ingredients. Just amazing. And 2. One of the kindest souls on this planet. I wanted to try some bread but didn’t have the money at that moment and he gave me a loaf to try. Good marketing because I will defffff be back and recommend him to everyone I know.

I came to visit here on my way to work one day and I was not disappointed. The smell of fresh baked bread hits you as soon as you walk in the door. There is a mass variety of all types of different bread as soon as you walk in on the right on a shelf. While it’s a bakery, they also have bagels, sandwiches and brick oven pizza made from scratch. Let me tell you this is one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. A 16 inch margarita pizza was $20 but let me tell you it was well worth it. The crust was super crispy and it had the bubbles on the outside edges, which always tells you the quality of the pizza. You could still taste the flower at the bottom and it was everything I could’ve hoped for. The staff even gave me a complementary water and offered me red pepper chili flakes that they had in the back. The place only has one table so you might not be able to sit down and eat, but I cannot wait to come back.

✨The BEST bread in town!✨
Thom’s Bread has become a staple in my home. Every time I go in there he, the owner Thom, and his staff are so warm & welcoming.

His bagels are divine and work for me because many of them are vegan.

His pizza crust – 10/10.
No more grocery store frozen pizza, because having his crust inspires me to have a homemade pizza ready in 10 minutes.

House made granola – WOW, it’s the freshest I’ve ever had.

The tomato pies, sourdoughs, focaccias.. the list goes on…

Thank you for being a gift to our community Thom’s Bread!

Always love Thom’s! My boys love their pizza, but this time I grabbed some semolina bread, ciabatta rolls and frozen pizza crusts. Everything was perfect!

I get Thom’s bread at the Fitler Square market in Philly, have not actually been to the bakery. But it is great! We usually go for the Ciabatta loaf, but multigrain is so good as is the pizza, rice krispie, etc.

Can’t recommend enough!

I love this place based on the honesty and the fact that the guy at the counter was straight up when asked about the products. Their breads are consistent and good, made well, multiple locations, theres food at the one, prices are a tad higher than others but you’re paying for the talent in the craft that is enjoyable.
