A few nights ago, I took a trip out to OB Diner. It was a very excellent time. The atmosphere was great, the booth seating was very nice. The service was quick and very supportive. Didn’t need to wait long at all before we were seated and served. I ordered the Belgian Waffle with bacon and the Chicken Caesar Wrap, which were very good. I had a great time and will definitely be coming again.

When they say family diner they mean it! Ordered delivery through DoorDash, somehow DoorDash messed up in how they sent the order and ended up with no food for one of my kids. She takes medicine with her food and it all has to been timed and when I called the diner directly they were incredible, helped me get another order and personally delivered it out to me soo fast that my daughter didn’t miss a beat. Not only great food but wonderful, caring people…they have a customer for life!

This is the best local diner. The atmosphere has an old fashioned feel to it, which I absolutely love. It small but what a business it does. A lot of locals and they know your name or what you’re ordering if you frequent it. The food is excellent. Total diner Faire but it’s sooo good. Wait staff is second to none. They don’t miss a beat. I usually hit my husband up to go there when I don’t feel like cooking. Just really a great place.

Decided to eat here almost by accident, we just happened to see the place while driving after we had just talked about the establishment. We entered and were met by a pleasant hostess who sat us immediately and in a booth as requested. We ordered an Italian omelette and the Irish eggs Benedict, both were a big disappointment. Before I get to our dishes, the waitress served another table’s food to us, she had to take a moment before realizing it wasn’t our order. The waitress returned the dishes back under the warmers and it took another 5-6 minutes for it to be delivered it to the correct table, felt sorry that couple that had to eat it after sitting that long. This was inexcusable, especially as there was a woman, I’m assuming was part of ownership/management that should be monitoring the window to expedite the food. Poor management by not getting the food out when it hits the window. Apparently, these servers and bus people were not taught to serve food as it hits the window whether it’s their table or not. By the way, I was served my toast during that original mis-service. Now we were served our correct order, with another plate of toast for my breakfast. The waitress stated that I can have both plates of toast, but unexpectedly grabs the toast from one plate with her bare hands and places it atop the other plate of toast, very disgusting IMO (couldn’t eat the toast). Now back to our plates, the Italian omelette was dry, lacking in sausage with a small cup of overly sweet sauce. The sauce was probably from a jar, can’t imagine any serious chef would add so much sugar to it as it was overly sweet and not edible. I couldn’t even finish the dish. The Irish eggs Benedict was just as disappointing, lacked any flavor and the muffin was a squishy mess. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this place for breakfast at the very least. The place feels dreary, dark and depressing. We will not be back.

Feels like a family run dinner. You can tell the owners care for the wait staff, and it translates to good customer service. They are friendly, kind and busy. I ordered the Hollandaise Sauce Omelet, comes with toast and potatoes, prefer the home fries. We have taken the whole family before still had great service.

We happened to stop by these town and happened to need lunch. After searching Google map for high rating restaurants with budget prices, we ended up with this restaurant.
First of all, all the previous reviews are correct! This restaurant is definitely not a land mine! The menu is really huge with all kinds of dishes for or ages, and the prices are very fair especially during this highly inflated economy crisis. Besides the portion of the dishes are big enough.
As for the food, The dishes tasted Not bad, but may be a little bit plain for people who like salty food. There are pepper and salt on the table though, people may other just the flavor by themselves.
The service was not bad, either. The waitress did that pretend being friendly, but nice and patient enough to serve.
So I think this is a nice place to visit with traditional American style food and dinning atmosphere!

Edited to add – we frequent this diner several times a month and both the food and service just get better and better. Especially for me as a celiac who is treated to foods from a dedicated fryer that I can’t usually eat anywhere else. Truly a treat!
Excellent GLUTEN-FREE meal and service. Tina, our waitress, was very informed about celiac and the many MANY gf offerings on their menu. Including desserts! They have dedicated fryers and so many options for everyone. I would highly recommend Old Bridge Diner.
And something to keep in mind – they close at four o’clock on Sundays.
The pancakes in the one photo are not gluten-free, but they do have gluten-free pancakes, waffles, and crepes.

Really good diner. Went for breakfast today. Omelet was perfect. Nice and cheesey. Potatos offered were home fries, French fries or hash browns (shredded) yes please!! I recommend. Cooked perfectly. Brown and crispy. Toast was buttered. Extra butter placed under the hot toast just in case you need extra . Thank you!! Service was great! Tina was on point! We will be back.
