I had a fantastic experience celebrating Chinese New Year at this wonderful Chinese restaurant! The atmosphere was lively, creating the perfect backdrop for an evening of incredible food. Every dish I tried was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. Free hot tea. I especially recommend the spicy jellyfish salad — it’s refreshing, spicy, and perfectly balanced. The pork and vegetable buns were soft, savory, and deeply satisfying. I had the stir fried beef with vegetable — definitely hit the spot. To finish, the mango pomelo dessert was light, creamy, and wonderfully fragrant — a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive and friendly throughout, and I loved that the restaurant stays open late 1. a.m., making it a great spot for a late-night bite or celebration.

Absolutely blown away by Yep Kitchen! The ambiance is sleek and cozy, perfect for a casual meal or gathering with friends. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor—especially the fried rice noodles, which had the most amazing wok hei. What really stood out was how attentive the owner was; she took the time to chat with us and happily accommodated all our vegetarian requests, making sure every vegan option was delicious and well-prepared. 10/10 would come back again and again!

A friend recommended this place for breakfast, and it did not disappoint! Ordering by tablet was super convenient, with photos to help choose. Prices are very affordable and even include a drink. We tried the pork liver rice rolls and shrimp rice rolls, silky smooth with generous fillings. The savory rice dumplings came in a flavorful chicken broth, and the osmanthus cake was also delicious. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Highly recommended!

We wanted some dim sum at Triple Crown but the wait time was 1 hour on Christmas Day. I was too hungry to wait for 1 hour adding extra 30 min to our driving. They wouldn’t take reservation. We decided to look around and found this Yep Kitchen. Our first time here. Service was good overall. You ordered yourself through the tablet. The server confirmed the order. The wait time was not bad.

Our first impression of the food wasn’t good. It lacked of presentation. The food portion was small for the dishes. It’s Chinese food. Normally, you get more portion. The photos were taken before we started to eat. To our surprise, the food tasted pretty good. We ordered 4 dishes for 2 people and finished it all. Both of us would come back. I hope they increase their portion a bit more.

In addition, I like that the restaurant was clean. The restroom was clean.

Best variety in Chinatown! Yep Kitchen has a massive menu including fresh live seafood, hotpot, and sushi. The portions are big enough for the whole family and the prices are very budget-friendly. Everything was delicious and the late-night hours make it super convenient. Highly recommend if you want authentic Chinese food without breaking the bank!

Their food is pretty decent for the most part. The dishes that come on rice have been my go to but the service is quite bad. Theres never anyone greeting us when we come in and we’re usually waiting to be acknowledged despite having many open tables. When we finally do get seated this time around we basically had to beg the server for water, and the man serving is usually acting as if he doesn’t even want to be there. Your best bet is ordering takeout because other than that this place is buns. There’s so many better food options around don’t waste your time here.

I live in the mid-West now. This place reminds me of home…
The best/authentic 布拉腸粉 (a type of noodle roll I ate when I was a kid ) that I can find! Very thin and smooth!

I also ordered wonton but did not take photo. It was also very good!! 有咬口~ 可以食得出肉餡打左好耐~

Service was quick and nice.

Overall, recommend!

Hotpot was okay. Sushi was the STAR as it was nice and cold. The Philadelphia roll needs improvement but the Angel Hair, Mango, Tuna Lover and Salmon lover rolls were delicious.
Having no shumai was a strike. Crab rangoon tastes gold but I tasted pork? Ill come back

I have never left a restaurant feeling so disgusted and upset. At first, everything seemed fine. We were seated quickly, and the staff answered our menu questions. We decided on the all-you-can-eat sushi and hot pot.

The sushi, however, was a huge red flag. The entire roll was served at room temperature. I understand that sushi rice can be slightly warm, but when the cream cheese and fish toppings are also warm, that’s completely unacceptable.

We switched to focusing on the hot pot, but that wasn’t any better. Both broth options we tried were bland and disappointing. On top of that, I had to send my water back three or four times because there was black gunk floating in it, the same kind of residue you’d find inside old bath toys. Eventually, they managed to bring me a clean glass, but the problems didn’t stop there.

While eating, both my husband and I found short black hairs in two separate dishes, one in the lettuce and another in the fried dough. Since neither of us has this type of length, this was someone else’s. That was the breaking point for me. I told my husband I wanted to leave immediately and didn’t care about the ridiculous “waste” charge they impose.

To make matters worse, I’m convinced the sushi upset my stomach, as I ended up nauseous and throwing up the next morning, right before my flight.

The only saving grace of the entire experience was our server, the waiter with short hair who doesn’t wear glasses. He was kind, attentive, and helped us wrap up quickly after the hair incident.

I didn’t have the normal menu items so I cannot say to much about it, but I wouldnt recommend the all you can eat options for either of the two.
