In my quest to find the best cheeseburgers around the nation, I may have found one of the best in the Chicago area and at an amazing price as well. Stopped in on a rainy Wednesday night, not too many folks around, but that was a good thing for me because I received spectacular service from the bartender. I ordered the triple cheeseburger thinking the patties would be tiny. I was wrong, a triple is a lot of sandwich and food. Not sure I could eat a home run! I’ll definitely be back. I ran into Miss Spicy? She wrote her name down and I lost my receipt. She was a nice lady and I’ll be back for sure. I highly recommend this place, so come out and support your local restaurants and businesses.

Momma Spice was so nice and our food and drinks were delicious. We ordered the Smash Fries, Wings and Smash Burger. They all were very flavorful and we cleaned our plates. We will definitely be back.

I love this place! The staff are super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable. The wings are absolutely incredible as well, just the right amount of crisp and delicious sauce. Plus MAMA SPICE with the drinks are the best PERIOD and not over priced like everywhere else.

We finally stopped in after so many times driving past and seeing they had Bar Bingo and Wings. It is a nice atmosphere with plenty of seating, inside, outside and at the bar. They have a great variety of drinks (including IPAs) and their food menu had a wide variety. We had to try the staple bar food, wings (bone in)…and I went with something different that reminded me of childhood….the Sloppy Joe. WOW!!! Mama Spice has her recipe on ‘point’!! The wings were juicy, tender and the right amount of sauce, it wasn’t drooping with sauce, but yet gave enough to be finger licking good. The sloppy Joe was definitely NOT Manwich. It had great flavor from the beginning of the bite, gave a slight spice flavor taste at the end, and not over spiced to where it is ‘spicy’. It also came with dirty rice, which also had a spice to it, but again….not overpowering. Both dishes were great. Not to mention, their prices weren’t bad at all, especially for the quantity and quality of the food/drinks. We will be back at Melinda’s to try more food, drinks and even check out an event (Bingo, karaoke, etc.). I attached pictures, but of course…didn’t think about it until I was already chowing down. LOL

The new management did a wonderful job with the place! Loved the atmosphere and the music, and the service was absolutely amazing(thanks Barry!). There’s tons of seatings, games to play, and even a spot for live music! Definitely excited to come back in the evening.

The smash burgers were awesome! The dugout sauce was very yummy and I loved the customizations that we could put on the burger. I had a single and my friends got doubles and found it incredibly filling. The combo came with fries that were super crispy and well seasoned too.
The boneless wings are incredibly fresh too! You can tell they’re using fresh chicken breasts. Perfect texture, and the sauce options were great (I got spicy garlic, highly recommend!)
Cheese curds were light and very cheesy. Even my lactose intolerant friend couldn’t get enough.

If you’re looking for a fun place,great food, and extensive drink menu this is the place to try! Staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Jessica at the bar makes delicious cocktails. My girlfriends and I came Friday night and they had a great local band with music that everyone enjoyed.
