Tried them for the first time after hearing good things about them and we weren’t disappointed. The sitting area is spacious. The service was decent. The food was absolutely amazing. Honestly, I have tried pretty much every desi restaurant in the northeast corridor and this one is by far the BEST. Their Kabli pulao, chapli kababs karahi, nihari, and all specialties were amazing. Portion sizes are good. Prices are decent. Quality is amazing. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

We stopped here on our way to Great Wolfe lodge and we were so impressed, we came the next day again. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. It was clean and well maintained, even the bathrooms. We loved seeing that there was a separate prayer area as soon as you enter. And the best part for me was the desi chai. It was authentic and fresh. It is so hard to find authentic desi chai in CT. I recommended this place to family as soon as I left this place.

Wow I’m impressed! Family of 5 here and visiting great wolf lodge and this food was delicious, and everyone enjoyed including the children. Generous portions, very tasty meat and perfectly cooked and fragrant rice. The gyro was delicious too, our daughters had it. I had the lamb shank platter it was so good, tender perfectly cooked. Husband and son had a platter with chicken masala and naan and tandoori chicken and theirs was delicious as well. Will come back tomorrow before we leave.

I ordered six kebab and None cashier said this is three orders. I said OK he walked inside suddenly he bring one box and piece of none and put them in the bag. Ask for Over $40 food I picked up bring them home open. The bag kebab was small small pieces when I put them on the line there was four kebab not six when I call. Try to ask the cashier and I speak same language he continue not understanding the portion of the Ford was a very low to keep pressure. There was three orders in my very simple language was six kebab And Six nan Argument I am not gonna go back and I also tell public careful when you pick up the food. Make sure check the boxes is portion is good if it’s not good and speak to them right away I live Easthaven Connecticut.

Wow what a pleasant surprise! I do not spend time in the Norwich area but I was heading back from a camping trip and decided to stop by with some friends to Khyber Kabab House.
The first thing I noticed was the prayer corner in the entrance of the restaurant which already told me that the space was well-thought out and intentionally designed.
There were tons of beautiful pictures of different regions of the Middle East and also South Asia and call to prayer music. Im not Muslim but really appreciated the energy and design of the space and found the music to be very calming.
Now to the food— wow!! This was probably some of the best Pakistani food Ive ever had in CT. I ordered the lamb tikka kebabs with pulao rice which were so well spiced and delicious and also the chicken karrahi with garlic naan which was absolutely incredible. My friend ordered the beef kofta kabab with rice and salad. I also got chai which hit the spot for me.
The owner was incredibly nice and friendly. I learned he was Brazilian-Pakistani and we chatted about Latin America for awhile. I would love to see some Brazilian-Pakistani fusion recipes on the menu in the future 🙂
All in all I was SO impressed and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I live almost an hour and 20 minutes away and I am already dreaming about driving back and bringing others to try this delicious food.
