The is an above average and decent place to eat. As a native southerner from Georgia my opinion of fried chicken is probably unfair and hyper critical. I found my chicken wings to overly salty with very good flavor in the skin; however, that is where the seasoning ends. The meat was juicy but lacking flavor. To a non-southerner this is probably very acceptable. The restaurant was clean and the service was very good and friendly. Although, judging would probably not return I would encourage other people to try this restaurant. I think you would be very satisfied.

The food was good but more cold than hot when I received my delivery. I also didn’t get my shake I had ordered, and when calling the store they told me that they definitely gave the delivery person the shake and to contact doordash about the missing shake. Doordash doesn’t have a record of my order so they are of no help. I don’t know if it was doordash or another 3rd party that delivered my order but she didn’t bring my food up to my room (what’s the point of putting a room number if they’re going to leave it at the lobby anyway) and there was no shake. Whoever you are, Tamara R in Henderson, you didn’t deserve the tip and you are terrible at your “job.”

First time trying The Chicken Shack, and I have nothing but good things to say. The staff was very friendly and helpful with my first order and making sure I got a good amount of food for a very good value.
The chicken fingers were juicy and flavorful. I picked them up plain and got the sauces on the side. Totally worth it getting that way to try only some of the many sauces that they have available. Only showed 6 of the sauces that we got to try. But had more that was not pictured more than enough for the meal.
The fries were nice and crispy and a little sweet. But fit very well with everything else.
The jalapeño cheddar bites had a very faint hint of heat. But it did not take away from the flavor.
The funnel fries were nice and crispy and came with a dipping sauce of your choice. I got chocolate. It tasted like it came from a carnival. Very delicious.
Overall, I would say it definitely has a bang for your buck and will beat your hunger into hibernation.

Chicken shack has long held a place in our hearts. We did get some rotten coleslaw one time. I always wish places didn’t charge for sauces and they once had these shoestring fries that were exceptional. Despite these grievances- the chicken is very good. The salad was a surprising smash. It really is a good place to eat as long as you pass on the expired slaw. The macaroni and cheese was very good but the portion was itty bitty.

I’m confused… Just a month or 2 ago, everything was great! New management?? New, poorly trained, employees?? I’m not sure, but I am sure that quality has gone from a 5 to 2, maybe 3 stars… every single order (there’s been more than I’d like to admit because I’ve been craving their chicken a lot) lately has had runny ranch… like the consistency of watered down chocolate milk. It doesn’t even stick to the chicken anymore. They used to have the best ranch. Now I have to make my own and I’m stuck with the bill each time I’ve “given it another chance”.
Now, today’s order, I got fries. This isn’t as common because as delicious as they usually are, I end up wasting most of them. Today’s fries taste, look, smell, and feel like old McDonald’s fries. If you know chicken shack fries, you know something is wrong with the above statement… They weren’t battered and crispy like they usually are. They aren’t seasoned. They’re soggy and inedible. Disappointing is an understatement. Honestly, if I wasn’t craving the chicken fingers so much right now, I’d go back to eating there once every six months like I used to… maybe another location will deliver to me… Hopefully.

Came back to this franchise for the first time in a couple years.
Chicken finger sizes drastically smaller! But the price it’s about $7 more than my original, the chicken mousse bland and tasteless.
Also gave you the bubble guts..
