just had the best croissant of my life here No idea why this place only has 4 stars — easily one of the best bakeries.

I really like this coffee shop. It’s in a good location in Del Mar and they serve coffee and pastries. The pastries are freshly made and there’s a huge window where you can watch them. I thought the Bombay coffee made with cardamom was really good. The place is nice with indoor and outdoor seating, but could use a touch up to make it a little more inviting. The staff is nice too, although I wish they were a little more conversational. Not a big deal, just a personal preference. Overall I enjoyed my visit and recommend.

I love an Open Kitchen! Watching the Bakers work, using quality flour, and a clean environment, all the key indicators of a wonderful Bakery!
I got the whole wheat focaccia and a baguette, Amy picked up a morning bun and an almond croissant, everyone loved the croissant, I heard remarks such as perfectly balanced, sweet but not too sweet and “did you finish it?” The baguette was sweet and begging to be made into a sandwich.
I’m big into focaccia these days and I appreciate a whole wheat half pan, crisp on the edges, large pockets of air and a gentle finish of olive oil. This is a great snack and ready for any dipping or side action.
The coffees were excellent! I had an oat milk latte with an extra shot. I’ll be back!

A hidden Gem in the middle of Del Mar,
it came to us as a surprise as we were walking in Del Mar. The staff is supe friendly, super helpful and very kind. There are high chairs for children to sitdown outside and inside the Bakery.
We got the Indian Chai, I personally love Chia yet I have never heard of the Indian Chai so we tried it and LOVE it! They have so much of to describe, all kinds of Croissants, let’s start with the Chocolate tarts, Lemon Almond Tartlet, Lemon Meringe tarts, Chocolate Eclairs, cinamon rolls and other different Croissants. We settled for the Quiches Loraine and veggie. The flakiness of the dough, the buttery flavor and the bacon inside the Quiche Loraine had a hugge explosion of flavor in my mouth, they were so perfect, the veggies were frsh and just right. They have so muhc to offer and there is such alittle time, I would recommend you to check them out. You will not be dissapointed. My wife and I are already planning to going back very soon. They are very friendly and super awesome!

Great spot to grab a pastry and a coffee. Everything looked delicious it was hard to choose. The classic almond croissant was very good, a little on the sweet side, but it’s freshness and warm middle were a pleasure.

I’m not a coffee drinker but the available tea bags were good quality.

For the croissant, hot tea, and a tip, I spent $11.

I was so tempted to get a baguette, they had them on the counter reminiscent to bakeries you see in France.

Wifi was great here, even sitting outside. I loved their mix of small and big tables on the patio. They also had a few tables inside.

I cannot express how much I LOVE this French bakery. If I could eat a croissant everyday, I would but it would hurt my waistline and wallet. the chocolate almond is my fave but it does cost a pretty Penny at $7 each… but if you watch them make it in the window, you’ll understand how much love and efforts go into it. Bonus tip: ask for a warm one! Can’t wait to return. ❤️

Horrible service. Arrogant young employees who could care less about your order coming out 20 minutes later or your $2.50 coffee refill already paid going unfilled for over 5 minutes and then questioning you “those are a dollar with your coffee cup!” Manager is on vacation and these amateurs are putting a shame to what are tasty croissants who I did see the baker working meticulously through the glass. If I was the owner/manager I would fire the entire front of the staff and you would see a huge improvement in sales and traffic. Embarrassing customer service from these careless entitled young kids.

The Tuna Sandwich is truly amazing. It has some unique ingredients, like Manchego Cheese, and the most delicious bread. It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten! The Avocado sandwich was delicious too. It has Gruyere cheese and is full of flavor. I had them add tuna one day, and that was delicious too.

The Valencia Mocha has a touch of orange. Yum. I have had it both hot and iced. Both are so good, so I just love the coffee here. The Mocha with Vanilla is amazing too. And, the Almond Croissant was heavenly. And the fresh squeezed orange juice is wonderful!

A local surfer said I ‘had’ to try this place. That is always a great sign, I think. He was so right. And, he also said I ‘had’ to try the Peach Delight Bar because it was delicious. Right again.

There is a nice patio area to sit outside and glimpse the ocean. The seating and decor is very simple and unpretentious. I like that.

They have been out of the focaccia bread for sandwiches occasionally. I guess I do love that it is made fresh, so that will happen.

They are making some excellent food here! The staff has been a delight; so cheerful and helpful. This is my favorite French bakery in the area.

We usually come here for the amazing fresh crusty french bread or fresh bread prosciutto sandwiches. This time I had a mushroom quiche and it was very creamy with a lot of cheese and mushrooms. Would order again! This is the spot for real deal French pastry and breads!

I travel to so many places in country and out, this place will be cemented into my brain. I felt also inspired by the passion I saw in the kitchen. Truly a wonderful bakery cafe. The almond croissant was to die for. Bombay latte was amazing however if you’re lactose get the almond or oat milk version since the coffee is strong it will effect you lol. The morning bun was so flaky and not overly sugary. It just has a charm that not many others in the country have. Highly recommend
