3 colleagues and I went for lunch. Only a few other tables were in the restaurant. Waited over an hour for our food. Finally had to ask for to have it pre placed in to go boxes so we could leave and return back to work. No apologies or acknowledgment. Just a bill. 2 ladies who were there before us were still sitting there waiting for their meal as we left. Very small portion of chicken and rice for 16$. Similar to a frozen dinner. 5 small chopped pieces of chicken to be exact. Recommend going elsewhere.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Dean and the entire House of Hunan team for providing amazing food for the Medina High School Show Choir! It was such an amazing treat for these hardworking singers and dancers who have been putting in long hours preparing for competition season. The food was absolutely fantastic—and the customer service was even better! I would highly recommend House of Hunan to anyone looking for delicious food and top-notch service.

I am from Akron and have been going to House of Hunan for years. Their older locations closed in downtown Akron and Fairlawn. Not because of poor business but because the family that runs it was getting older and wanted to consolidate. This takes me back to those restaurants. On this night I had the happy family.

Food was great! Staff friendly and very helpful! I especially enjoyed the General Tso chicken and my hubby had the sweet and sour. The pick up process went smoothly! The restaurant looks really nice, will dine in next time!

Excellent food and service at front desk. Rarely get a chance to eat in restaurant but have always been 100% satisfied. We drive 1/2 to pick-up take out and have always been pleased with how everything is packages. Food is still hot, well packaged, plentiful and did I say EXCELLENT. Will keep coming back time and time again!

Our Christmas tradition and as usual, they were short staffed because people evidently don’t like to work and honor their commitment. Our waitress was fantastic but I was really taken by a young black bus boy who hustled like nothing I have seen in some time. He had nothing to do with our table but I stopped him and gave him a $5 tip and thanked him for the excellent job he was doing

This was a carry out order. The food was very good, the order was ready on arrival and pick up is good. Pricing was average as food pricing is rising constantly. The Drunken Noodles had a great blend of spice, well balanced. Pad Thai Chicken also very good. Parking on Medina Square is always a bit difficult usually involves a little luck.

The chicken wasn’t good. I told my spouse that it tasted like it had been cooked in water.
