Sports bar serving American & Portuguese bites in warm, cozy digs with TVs & a pool table.

Spent a night in Newark with my girl, wanted to find a local sports bar to watch some of the Celtics. First off… it’s just a bunch of girls in crop tops. My girl felt not comfortable. Clearly just catered to men.
They don’t have a drink menu??? Like that’s just bad management and clearly no value proposition there. A pizza and quesadilla took 45 minutes to come out during a slow night. Both entrees must had no flavor.
I wholeheartedly don’t complain often but this place really just put a damper on our night. Good luck to anyone who visits!

The bartenders are really nice and attentive. The bar, pool and cigar area are quite nice. Not a big crowd for a Saturday which was good. We could talk amongst each other. Only drawback like most places on Newark is no parking or parking lot. It took additional 30min to find parking.

I ordered take out. The Phillycheese steak sandwich was delicious. Exactly how it should taste. Good tender beef and yellow cheese peppers and onions. Simple and tasty. The only problem is that it does not travel well. I hate soggy bread and my cheese steak bread was soggy (I live 8 minutes from the location). The wings are too breaded. Not bad but just too breaded with little meat . Some like wings this way I do not. It brings hot and blue cheese sauce on the side.

Great environment to chill and watch sports games. They got a great list of craft beers and they also make the best raspberry mojito which perfect for summer time. Food is exceptionally delicious for a tiny kitchen. Service is pretty good and friendly. They have awesome artists performing every now and then with live music (pop rock, rock, reggae)

I was stuck in the area for the evening. I called and talked to Paula and asked if they had access to the Canada/Finland (world junior) game, she said yes. I walked over and watched that game, the NFL game and enjoyed some beer, great food and whoever was in charge of the music playlist, . I’m so glad I came by, what a gem!

Cool Sports Bar. Parking is a bit hard. I came in after a movie to watch the Yankees game, but turns out they didn’t have the game. Stayed anyway, it was okay. The food was surprisingly very good. I got a cheese steak and my boyfriend got a skirt steak. We both completely finished our meals. Overall good corner sports bar. Nothing fancy, but good.

Definitely not a great bar to watch the games. The vibes is good for a quick drink or two and off you go bar hoping. But, as they advertise that you can watch the games, its not meant for that. I would go to like a Bdubs for that.

Good food, takes a while to get a drink to your table. Have to tell them 2 or 3 times to get drinks to table.

Went to watch the game (Pacers and Thunder game 5). We arrived arrived around 10pm. We were served water and nothing else. After 30 minutes, we asked to place a food order. We were then informed the kitchen was closed. So we left and went to the next bar. We only stayed as long as we did because we were watching the game. The server held conversations with the men at the bar but never came back to take our order. A member of my party went to the restroom and noticed an employee didn’t wash her hands prior to leaving.

The food here is great, the girls and service is also top, along with a varied liquor selection, but i mainly stop in while delivering in the area and get an espresso, it’s delicious and roasted locally by my favorite coffee brand, Vilar. I’ll be coming back for sure.
