Had to try this place after his response to some of the reviews here. Very friendly staff there. Very clean facility. Loved the food. I got the chicken teriyaki rice bowl, delicious! The teryaki sauce is sweet and savory. My gf got some vegetable rolls and loved em. Definitely going to be back to try more. Good job guys!

2 orders of California rolls were only 12 pieces for about $12 with tax. In my opinion that’s kind of a small portion for the cost. Except for that one little complaint , it was excellent. The California rolls were probably the best I’ve ever eaten. Also the staff seemed nice and the remodel of the store front looked very nice. If I have gotten 16 pieces of sushi for $12 I would have given it 5/5stars.

Just tried them for the first time last night and was really happy with the rolls, edamame and seaweed salad I ordered. It is perfect for a quick pickup order, it is clean and the staff and owners are very nice. The menu has all the basics plus specialty rolls and sides you need. SO happy to have a sushi place near by. Come on Oaklawn lets keep this small business going.

Decently sized menu. Everything is good. Price is on par for any other sushi place. Everything seems really fresh and good quality. What really makes this place above the rest is they have the absolute best staff. The best sushi in oak lawn by far. We usually get the caterpillar, dragon, crunchy tuna, unagi, and a couple other random rolls.

Best sushi around no doubt!! I’ve tried every place in the area and maki masters has already made a name in the city when it resides on Belmont and Broadway. For the quality and flavor at the prices they have is unbeatable around! As a plus, the owner and staff are some of the nicest and kind people I know, you won’t regret giving it a try. It’ll keep you coming back for more, guaranteed!

Update! The maki rolls are so good! Definitely really fresh ingredients. The restaurant looked very clean and the service was exceptional! I will definitely be back and will be recommending this place to family and friends!

First time here and tried the ‘Real Godzilla’ roll. Fresh made, loaded with flavor and complexity for either a novice or sophisticated palate. Ginger, wassabee or soy sauce can only enhance the abundant flavors of this edible sushi monster! Will return soon.
