Sandiago’s has an amazing location at the base of the Cibola National Forest. It also overlooks residential Albuquerque. Location was excellent- and for that it earns two stars. It would make a great place for a date if it wasn’t for the following: price is not an issue when the food is absolutely stellar. I would say the food is rated $$$ for price and deserves 3/10 for portion size. I personally ordered their chicken tacos and they were $3.50 for one. They were small and lacked in flavor, and taste when compared to an authentic Mexican restaurant which are plentiful in the region. In all, food is mediocre and overpriced. You pay for the view and environment. Not the food’s quality. After all, isn’t the food what it’s all about?!

We really enjoyed our time at the restaurant. My fiance and I each had a cup of their beef stew and shared an order of chips and salsa. Both were extremely good, but portion sizes are large, so be careful on ordering. My fiance and I could have easily shared a cup of the beef stew with the chips and salsa. I would definitely eat here again if we come back to Albuquerque.

We loved this place! The service was excellent with Maggie as our waitress. The views are astounding! My daughter had the blue corn enchiladas and enjoyed them very much. The steak burrito I had was delicious; the meat was tender. Our drinks were good, too.

Green Chile Enchilada For The Win.
Visited this restaurant after traveling us the tram. I would have to say that the best part about it is the amazing patio view of the city.
I had the Enchiladas and they were delicious also. I would come back just for the view.

Had a pretty good lunch there. Staff was friendly & on top of things. My order was correct, cooked & tasted excellent. Restaurant was quite when I arrived & started to fill up as I was leaving… Build was clean along with the restroom.

Really good bar service, friendly staff, and clean bar. I only had the guacamole and chips with a sidecar. The guac was great and the drink was better than average. There is a beautiful view from pretty much anywhere in the restaurant, and at night is is a pretty place to see the lights of the city.
Even if you sent going on the tram it is worth the little drive out of town.

Excellent food and service, the room is beautiful with glass ornaments that catch the light, expansive view of the city. I had the salad with pink seared tuna, jicama and palm hearts, not overdone, nice presentation. Going back!

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Our waiter Jeff was particulary attentive and caring and certainly contributed to the experience. The Grill at the Tram does offer great meals, I enjoyed a delicious steak, and was pleasantly surprised at the refill drinks.
The view from the restaurant is worth an extra start, sunset and the night view are breathtaking!

I had the sliders and they were delicious!
Amazing views.
Great spot to eat regardless if you’re going on the Tramway or not.

Place is nice and cozy. Drink selection is great and had the Raspberry Dynamite, it was great. Food was well seasoned and serving amount is perfect. Salsas were ok, nothing to brag about. Had the Adovada beef plate, it was great. Has a perfect view of the city and of the peak, which gives it a nice detail. Recommend highly in the afternoon.
