Shugar Creek offers a cozy and elegant atmosphere with nice old farmhouse hospitality feel. The seating was comfortable, and the tables are well-spaced, providing a sense of privacy. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience.
The service was exceptional. The waitress was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food arrived promptly, hot, and delicious.
Considering the quality of the food and the level of service, Shugar Creek offers excellent value for your money. The prices are more than affordable. It was a great experience, worth every penny. I highly recommend Shugar Creek for anyone looking for great food fast and affordable.

Great place! Festival Fall decor, great service and excellent food! The deep fried mushrooms were fresh and handmade, not frozen!

I can never get what I order for breakfast, the ol’guy cooking is pretty stingy and makes it his way NOT your way. I used to go there all the time but now I’ll drive to Harold’s place or papas place in Brooklyn.

The waitress was very friendly, the omelet tasted very good, but I was joking later and said I know it had no chance of sticking to the pan. It was somewhat greasy, but had a good amount of cheese and mushrooms and no slimy eggs, which is a plus.

What a great “diamond in the rough” place. The building is very historical and the restaurant has a great historical vibe to it. It is very roomy and super clean with a high ceiling. Great variety of food items on the menu. Everything is homemade and you can tell. My wife’s Country Omelet was great, and my chopped steak included 2 sides. The salad was great with a lot of stuff in it for a side salad. The fried potatoes were sliced and cooked like the good ole days. Our waitress Kendra was fantastic, and we never felt like she forgot about us. She treated all of her other customers the same way. Cannot wait to go back and try some of the other items on the menu.

A nice little place if you want to drive the 15 minutes from Devil’s Lake. Not to mention, creative breakfast specials! I chose the fisherman’s breakfast (2 pieces of fish, 3 eggs, toast, and hash roe s) and it was amazing!

Had the grilled ham and cheese and it was very good. Nice cheese to ham ratio and the bread was very crispy without being a greasy mess. Our waitress was incredibly nice and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The flower shop is a cute little bonus
