What a gem! I love this spot. All the retro vibes. Your inner child will be happy with all the OG arcade games, and your inner adult will be happy with the great selection of drinks at the bar!
They also have ping pong and other fun activities. It’s a great place to hang with friends (the other nerds in your life that you love) and have some drinks!

I have been coming to this arcade for a few months now after finding them via the Stepmaniax app. I am an avid dance game player and this location/machine is top notch. Staff is always cool and prices are reasonable for the games.

Good drink selection, some fun games well suited for all ages, and a neat electric vibe in the downtown area. Would be perfect for a large party. Some games are worn bit still fun to play. The retro games offer a nice perk that newer ones don’t. I went in the middle of the week after dinner and it wasn’t too crowded.

Ive had my good times here.. but this Sunday I gotta say, was different. A drink I normally get was 3 dollars more expensive. I came here to spend money on the games… not recieve a $20 dollar tab on just two drinks that i normally pay $12 for. I asked the bartender “why the change in prices? the other bartender always charges us $6 per redbull vodka with house liquor..” Her response was rude and she just replied “oh well.. he wasnt supposed to do that”.. like i said ive been here many times and its always been the same price until now. Really dissapointing.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Blair at the bar, and Paige, as the event coordinator at the Rec Room. We held a corporate party at the Rec Room this week and did a full buy-out of the space and had an amazing time. Paige was an amazing point-of-contact for us and helped to coordinate catering from their preferred vendor – Cob & Pen. My team have since commented on how much they loved the Chicken Curry Sliders!
We did a buy-out for three hours which included the Karaoke room, which was the true hit of the night. We added game cards for all staff and drink tickets. They were open with us and allowed us to bring additional decorations to have a great 80’s night. I would highly recommend working with Paige!
Thank you all for a great event! Our staff have been heard staying it was their favorite yet!

So, we haven’t been here in months and tonight it was VERY different. Bartender didn’t know how to make a cherry vodka sour, both games I pictured took our money and didn’t work, also the first ski ball machine. Multiple games and the floor were sticky. And the bathrooms were um… interesting to say the least, And we witnessed 2 obvious drug deals go down… keep in mind this is daylight before 8pm… I would never bring my kids here. The place is falling apart and they’ve gotten rid of at least 5 games since we went in the fall. I do love they made tables out of the old tokens – cute touch but they obv should’ve kept that old system vs. charging for a disposable plastic card (they aren’t recyclable)
Pros- could probably buy anything I was craving that isn’t food, free ping pong, free parking across the street on weekends.
Cons- not eco friendly AT ALL and strange vibe.

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. Here randomly on a Sunday night to unwind and decompress and I’m pleasantly surprised to find out my bill is slashed by 50% because I work in the restaurant industry. This is a true bar for restaurant workers to unwind. By the way, come get served by me at the Shack Riverfront in Palm Bay Mon-Fri and I’m usually cut at 3pm.
Everything for me starts with the bartenders Matt and Chris. They set the whole tone for the entire floor with their flamboyant personalities and they play off each other….. their chemistry is crazy. They were joking and insulting each other and putting on a grand show for us. The Rec Room really put dudes here tonight that want to be here and serve. Even the little scuffle that happened with some bar patrons was handled quickly by Matt. This is a place you can take your significant other or come by yourself. There are arcades, a ping pong table, a PS4 hooked up to a big screen TV with a variety of games to play, and plenty of space to move around. This place reminds me of the arcade centers of the late 80’s and early 90’s, but remixed for 2022. Music is hip hoppish and top 40 uncensored. I love this place.
As far as the vibe of the patrons, I find myself enjoying the rainbow of colors that came tonight. Their ages seem in the 20’s to the late 30’s. Quite impressive of an establishment to have so many people of different colors and creeds under one roof. The women were beautiful and the dudes were comfortable. Like I said before, there was a little scuffle between 2 patrons, but that was handled swiftly by the bartenders.
In conclusion, this place is very lovely establishment and I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m in Lakeland again dropping my children off to their mother next Sunday.

Employee harassment telling me to buy something or leave and asking to see I.d when I already showed them once , they rude and nasty don’t come here. People could put things in yall drinks don’t always buy random food and drinks not safe.

We had a 25 people event for a birthday party, rented out the outdoor patio, and we couldn’t have been happier having it at Rec Room. Paige was our event coordinator. She was very thorough in explaining the process, communicating and more than helpful during setup/party/break down. Christian and Blair, our bartenders were amazing! Definitely on top of their game w the drinks served! We would definitely come back again for future celebrations! We took the unlimited card deal as well which everyone enjoyed. I highly recommend having your event here! Thank you Paige, Christian and Blair!!!! My son’s 20th birthday was a hit for big and small!
