One of the best restaurants in Newark!!!! The Amalfi chicken salad with house dressing is the BEST. Huge meal for a great value. The marinated eggplant on top is heavenly. Staff/service has always been fantastic. They also offer a cash discount and offer guest wifi.

Originated from Bklyn, NY; have lactose intolerance and tried this new tab. Wanted a Sicilian slice so bad for the last 2 decades, tried Amalfi. Definitely a good square, but can’t say it’s like NY, being honest. Probably NYC water in the end. Will definitely go back, thanks for the square, it was worth it!

I’ve ordered from here the crab pizza months ago before my husband passed away and it was excellent so decided to order another crab pizza again today while I’m at work right down the street which it’s excellent but the pizza seems smaller than before and I paid way more for it than I did months ago this was my late Xmas gift to myself I’ve been wanting crab pizza for a while so I treated myself. The pizza was very delicious not sure for the price I paid but i definitely recommend trying to crab pizza

We usually just do take out from here, but the selection of slices each day is great to choose from as always something different in the case. The garlic knots are also pretty good.
You better be hungry when ordering the Italian Entrees as the portions are huge. We always have leftovers if we each order our own. We’ve wisened up and will select an entree to share. The sauce on the entrees is fresh and delicious.
They are great with catering and have used them for several events. They’re helpful and responsive to your needs.
The staff has always been kind and courteous to us….even in the busiest of times (place was hoping at 5pm on Superbowl Sunday …. but they were still pleasant despite being run ragged with to-go and take-out orders).

Me and my lady ordered salads there yesterday. One Cobb and one almafi grill chicken salad. We got major food poisoning today. Do not eat there vegetables or meat. The level of sick i am right now is unacceptable. Keep fresh food stocked and clean your facilities properly. No cross contamination. You guys need to throw out all your veggies. Its ridiculous the level of pain im in right now

We came here on a random Friday looking for simple Italian food and we were not disappointed! We got a Stromboli and a chicken eggplant salad, both very generous and delicious.

When we first walked in the seating availability is really limited but this was not an issue and we were seated right away. The first thing we tried were the garlic knots. They didn’t have a real buttery garlic flavor but they were very soft and pillowy with a light butter and garlic taste. My friends got a Hawaiian pizza which they said was good. I got the broccoli pizza. First off I want to say I know the pizza is going to be good when the toppings don’t slide off. Too many times I’ve eaten at a pizza place and all my toppings go when I pick up the slice, NOT HERE! The pizza crust is very soft and thick. The toppings on my pizza tasted freshly picked from a vegetable garden. They were so fresh and juicy. The white sauce and ricotta was so delicious. I recommend this pizza place If you’re looking for a quick sit-down or grab and go pizza spot with delicious pizza!

I ordered linguine with a blush sauce , this was by far the absolute best pasta with blush sauce from any take out in the Delaware , Pennsylvania, Maryland area. My sons love the pizza from here but I wanted to try something different and I am so glad I did!! I will definitely be ordering this dish again!!! Also the portion is huge so plenty for lunch tomorrow:)

For over ten years, I have considered Amalfi Pizza to be among the best Italian restaurants in the area. In fact, they’re so good that I have occasionally driven from my home in N. Wilmington just to enjoy their Cesar salad w/ grilled chicken (along with a slice of plain pizza… or two!). They’re the real deal.
