Definitely a 12/10 and that’s just for the food. Highly recommend their special dishes on the wall( although written in Chinese) that truly represent Xi’an. Love their 特色花肉(special pork) with the wonderful chili oil,西安甑糕( sticky rice with dates). The owner even made us a special 二合一 (handmaked noodles + pork mandarin sauce +ADD spicy) because my friend had it once in Xi’an and loved it so much although it’s not on the menu and thank you so much for that!

They are open in Thanksgiving day which is great. There was no wait and the server really nice and friendly. However, I didn’t like the food too much ( my husband does). Good for small family and seem like they authentic Chinese foods.

Great Xi‘an food! Highly recommend! Very authentic. Got the dumplings in chili oil as appetizers and the spicy sour minced pork noodle soup. Both have been very delicious.

Hidden Gem with Amazing Food and Service
I’ve always been curious about this place but hesitated to try it because of the exterior—it looks like a takeout spot from the outside. Last week, I finally decided to go in and was pleasantly surprised. Inside, it’s a clean and inviting dine-in restaurant.
The restaurant was empty, which made me a little sad, especially after trying the food—it’s unbelievably good! I ordered the Chongqing spicy chicken, scallion pancake, liang pi, and hot and sour soup. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The scallion pancake had a uniquely crisp crust, and the hot and sour soup was packed with veggies, button mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, tofu, and eggs. It was comforting, delicious, and felt healthy—exactly what you need on a cold day. They even offer small and large pot options, which is great for any appetite.
Service was phenomenal, and the food arrived quickly. The quality and quantity of food for the price were unbeatable.
If you’re in the neighborhood, don’t overlook this spot. It’s a hidden gem that deserves more attention. I’ll definitely be back!

I first tried Liang Pi in Toronto and after coming back to the U.S I had to look for my fix here. I tried a few places but it wasn’t the same. Then I found this plade and the food here is delicious! I got the Xi’an Liang Pi and the pork buns. The Liang Pi tastes just like i remember it when i had in Canada. I ordered online for pickup. Don’t be fooled by the outside, the inside looks great and was clean.

Service was great and food was delicious! Owner took the time to explain the dishes and even gave a brief tutorial on how to use chopsticks.

This is our favorite family restaurant. My wife is from China and this is her go-to place. Boss is super nice too.
Favorite recommendations: Chinese hamburger (肉夹馍), cold noodles (凉皮), beef/mutton dumplings, mutton skewers, that big chicken plate with noodles (大盘鸡).

Dined here on Chinese New Year Eve. The place was almost empty, so got full attention of the owner who was very friendly. Place was clean. We got chicken noodle soup which was authentic. It was okay. Dumpling in chilli oil was fantastic so was the scallion cake. Inflation induced pricing will bite you. Overal good experience.

I got a the Chinese hamburger and lamb skewers — they were meager in portion and overpriced. Both items came out to $23

Got the Chinese pork hamburger and the liang pi for takeout late at night. It was tasty and felt a bit homemade. The flavor was good, but not particularly notable if you’ve tried other places. More of a soy sauce flavor. The “hamburger” bun was on the bready and soft side. The liang pi was a cold dish. It was on the firmer side and not as chewy.
Friend got the pepper chicken which was good and within expectations of Chinese takeout.
